Snoop is really the best boy. I would suggest a help ‘em up harness.. its used to help them get up from the floor and also an assist up stairs. With his hip displasia he will eventually have a hard time with those things. We just lost our 8 year old Dane. Seeing your puppers always makes me smile.
The harness you used on snoop is actually great for just helping him walk just lift slightly and it just takes some weight off his legs. Love your videos 😊
That dog sling has extra clips for helping them walk if their hind legs are weak. You move the straps back and you can give assistance with walking by lifting up slightly.
It’s expensive but I HIGHLY recommend the Help ‘em Up harness . Another recommendation is similar to the suction cup toy but they have one that you can hang on a tree!

Its 2 parts: one that goes on the front of the dog (like a reg harness but w/ a handle) and one for the back that helps when they still have control of their front legs but only need help lifting the back. Then they attach together with an adjustable strap, but you dont have to use the front handle so snoop can still feel like he has some control over his life while he can and puts less weight on you. Our dog physical therapist suggestrd it.
For my elder dog, we did get her a lift strap for her back legs but it was for helping her around to go potty, we just carried her up the stairs like a toddler 😊

I love these harnesses. have your shorten the straps. the harness is more like when people use crushes. your doing the work, but they are. their for added balance and support so they don't face plant. so when loading up they don't face plant but they still need to do some of the work them selves.... im not sure if that makes sense.

Can you please test Halloween products. It could be decorations, costumes for people or pets, etc. You could get them from different places or just one such as Temu. Temu has some cute pet costumes.

Hey Rachel I don't think yhe "dog carruer" is to carry your dog but to help them walk when having hip issues or leg issues. Just a support to take some pressure off.
You are supposed to use the dog tug toy on tile, wood,linoleum surface. Not on concrete, also just like most suction cup things. You are supposed to clean the surface before.

Okay so that dog "lifting" jacket is not actually meant to be used like that to take 100% of his weight for you to lift him around. It's meant for you to stand completely upright and take anywhere between 30 to 80% of his weight to help him still be able to walk around but be supported by you. Not carried by you 👍
Yes please! Quit putting your dogs in the back of pickup truck, they jump out & fall out. Also letting them hang their heads out the windows they end up with ear infections, damage to their eyes and they do fall out as well.
