@jerrymuncey4136 They have everything needed there for habitat restoration, except their little boardwalk! Parks makes no sense and that's why there are no dunes.
Are residents really that upset about not having places to play, for leisure already after such horrific storms? The clean up is going to take a year or more for so many people. If you have time to lay on the beech maybe spend that time volunteering for the clean up.
Or maybe after the last month or so, some people need a few hours of leisure just to get their mind off things for a short time before getting back to cleaning up their own lives.
@@shoredude2just stop . yiure all fucking ridiculous. no one need “a few hours of peace” get off social media and watching the news and stop normalizing the trauma porn. pinellas is fine, and stronger than ever. the water will be green again soon
If you call the city they aren’t accepting help. Which is absolutely astonishing to me.
Such a disappointment considering Pasco is just getting it done,
Fort DeSoto is an amazing place hopefully it will get some help
Because it’s not a City Park.
@margaretrogers4200 it's definitely a Pinellas county park .
I'm truly looking forward to this park reopening. The campground is marvelous and my dog loves the beach there.
bruh this is literally my favorite beach in my area, I really hope that it recovers fast
FORT DESOTO!! ❤❤❤ I LOVE YOU 💕 MY BEAUTIFUL OASIS OF PEACE AND BEAUTY 😭😭😭😢😢😢😢💜💜💜🌈🌈🌈please reopen soon!!!
Using some of that debris for dune and habitat construction would help for future storms, instead of carrying everything off.
THEY TO GREEDY!!!! got to bill you for removal and bring in new debris for your recommendations. JUST FREAKING CRAZY: DSANTIS IS A CROOK SO SAD!

Here's an idea. How about no electric and no obnoxious RV's at the campground.
Oh call FEMA LMAO
Well, the good news is mango Mussolini is coming and rolling back environmental regulations so this won’t keep happening. Enjoy!
Andy from NJ.
Fix it. I am coming on vacation in December.

Well they’re mostly selfish and entitled so I doubt that’s going to happen
