    I’d highly recommend buying assault intercessors and then 10 jump packs, and getting 10 jump lads that way

      Have to get the jump packs 3rd party now

      Yep cheapest way. Buy imperium magazine x2. Use the 10 assault..use 3d printed packs

      Alternatively you could buy a Heresy Assault Squad.

      @@azrael1045 the jump packs are still available online in canadia, but I did hear they were going g away soon. Probably a lot of options for 3D printed ones too

    Really like them in Black templar Righteous Crusaders with à captain with sigismund seal that also allows you to get thé 0CP crusader wrath for +1 AP.
    You get crit 5+ if you get the sustained hits vow with S5 Ap2.
    And you can get lethal on top of that if you get them thé extra vow strat in your command phase.
    Preeetty nutty.

    Great video,! I use them as a 5 man squad with chaplain to hunt for enemy scoring units or in the ironstorm with Master of Machine War enhancement. I try to use 10 man squad it sounds very intresting

    I've been considering playing a ten man squad with a captain in Vanguard, a skirmish unit and to get some points in the late game

    • @vfminiatures
      @vfminiatures  3 месяца назад

      Captain is a great option, but in Vanguard they would really struggle to get wounds through then because of no strat support. I’d recommend a Chaplain for that reason

    I’ve been having great success with 10 man plus chaplain. They’ve killed a C’tan in multiple games or just wipe units out with grenade, charge mortals and the chaplain mortals.
    if they don’t wipe out the unit on their first attack tho they’re pretty much dead tho. But regardless I think on average they can kill or almost kill anything that they’re worth an auto include at this point

    I mainly run Salamanders Firestorm Assault Force... unfortunately sounds like they maaay not be as powerful as elsewhere so not sure whether they're worth getting 😥

    • @vfminiatures
      @vfminiatures  3 месяца назад +2

      They are still more than worth it imho, just run them with a captain as a 10-man or if you want skirmish 5-man squads. Their innate efficiency is enough so it’s not a waste, actually a really efficient unit

      Still very much worth have 2 or 3 min-size squads in a 2k pt match. 12" move for only 80 pts helps a lot once your slow units have disembarked from their transports.

    What is chaff/skirmish in a terminator army?

      The sergeants with the power swords?

    • @vfminiatures
      @vfminiatures  3 месяца назад

      Depends on the army in question.
      In some armies some 5-man squads of termies can fulfill the skirmish role (I have my Brotherhood terminators for that e.g.)
      But chaff - no, any terminator unit is way too expensive for the role.
