Yuri Lowenthal is so perfectly cast as the Railway Man, I can't even articulate how perfectly he plays this role. So confident and elegant and powerful just how one infused with the essense of the metaphysical force of the railroad, so powerful, majesty and brutal.
I couldn't agree more! I could listen to the Man from the Railroad read a dictionary to me and I'd be enthralled and disturbed in equal measure
@@AlbintheOctopus yess. I find myself doubting that anyone else could read a line containing the term ..."yon parlour house" to describe brothel with such gravitas and sell it so completely.
Absolutely outstanding, the nonchalant intimidation lingering behind every word. Just brilliant
I thought that was him when I first heard him. Thought "Nah. I'm imagining it." Nope, sure enough.
blew me away too
I swear that man from the railroad is the creepiest s.o.b I've heard since Nicola Orsinov in the Magnus Archives
LOVE Nicola Orsinov. Probably my favourite antagonist from TMA.
I think the voice he’s most akin to in TMA is Michael. Something close-to-human-but-not, in a subtle way that makes the hairs on your neck stand on end.
@@TeaReesa26he feels like the prototype of a corporate Thing
The Railroad Man is my favorite character! I hope he returns soon. Ever onward ever forward, yes?
I tell anyone and everyone I can about this masterclass! From the narrating to the diction to the SPOOKS i love it!!! Thank you all
I know the Walker sisters will make it out of this situation more or less okay and yet I still am afraid on their behalf because you're writing is so brilliant!!! The sense of absolute dread and tensions palpable, keep up the amazing content as always!!!
Ever onward ever forward, yes!
That tension is what is so appealing about these stories, isn't it? I literally hang on every word and eagerly await the next chapter.😊🐝❤
The railroad man is very easy to hate.
Ever forward, ever onward, yeeees..?
Excellent 😁
the railway man is really a piece of art... in design and performance... really great job
I've been waiting... in Kiev, during the lockdown... i've been waiting. Thank you!
The connections that are materializing, between this rich cast of characters, as this tale plays out, is a thing of beauty. So many amazing story lines, seamlessly
coming together to weave such an amazing tapestry. One of ancient methods, and modern outcomes, perfectly melded, to bring this tale to life.
Lol, yeah makes me attempt to describe the feeling i experience, while listening, in such beautiful and descriptive language. Although admittedly, not exactly my skill set. Love this series.
This is my second time listening to the whole series the narration keeps drawing me back love it
Full body chills. Bravo 👏
I've listened to this at least five times today, and twice yesterday. This is absolutely fantastic, you guys have outdone yourselves.
Oh my! I see an OK Corral type showdown comin.....I have all the faith in the world in our ladies.😊🐝❤
pO tAY To salad 😂
God...this show...this is True Detective/Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad and so much more!
This guy is ending up in my old west DnD campaign, hello arc villain!
Do I detect some "Clockwork Orange" influence in today's voice overs, Family? I do love your work. Please keep sharing your magic.
The awful thing is, this is exactly how the Corp men/women act. And it don't require any evil magics. It's just how they are, hungry and hollow. And there's nothing we can do.
so good!!
Love this
God....damn...
When the man was told that he had knocked twice
Pardon my french
Her power was evident in her words
Ohhh shit! God love a standoff
Sweet
That railroad man must be related to P.R. Deltoid... yes?
No.
I think Victrola was based in Camden, New Jersey, not the little hamlet of Camden, NY. But no matter - good episode! Thank you!
Their Appalachia is not our Appalachia.
Thus there are also ... other ... differences.
the devil? who the hell do you think the railroad man is!
👋😊👍
The man from the railroad is soooo creepy
So excited Cory is part of this!!
