One of the greatest meme lists is "OOPS! ALL PRIMARIS LIEUTENANTS!" and nothing will ever top it. On another note, PLEASE MAKE EVERY FACTION'S PRIMARIS LIEUTENANT I AM _BEGGING_ YOU! IT'S BEEN 8 MONTHS!
@ Over the course of Warhammer's history there have been around 15 Primaris Lieutenant figures. The army list would work like such Warlord: Lieutenant Titus x3 Primaris Lieutenant x3 Primaris Lieutenant in Phobos Armor x3 Primaris Lieutenant in Reiver Armor x3 Primaris Lieutenant with Combi-Weapon x3 Apothecary Biologis (not really a lieutenant but does the exact same thing) You can also play Dark Angels and get 3 more models with their exclusive Terminator Lt. You'd have to ditch Titus, but with every unit being a character you're not missing much.
It’s a testament to the state of AdMech that the ForgeWorld list still is cheaper in real money than it. Also I would like to reaffirm to not buy Forge World. Not only will it be trapped in 30k by the end of the edition, but you don’t even need want to make a fun Solar Spearhead list.
@@LordCrate-du8zm The FW purge is in some parts also a Horus Heresy purge, trying to separate models between the game systems. While I'm not sure that they'll remove them fully from 40k, it's likely that they'll be converted to plastic at some point (a lot of HH models have been), so it's probably worth it to wait until the plastic alternatives become available.
Slight tweak to Eric's "Fabius Bile" list that I did to crank the noise up. Currently you can run 6+ squads of Noise Marines if you have Lucius be your warlord in CSM. So you make him your warlord, bring six units of 5 Noise Marines for those extra Blastmasters. Then pretty much the exact same thing as Eric's list except you run two units of Raptors with 2 Melta Guns and a plasma pistol.
Underappreciated part of this episode is every time Eric slips up and calls a unit a "5 mana" unit. You guys may not solely singleton nearly as much anymore, but your roots never completely leave you
I'm a big fan of the meme-list episodes. Silly and breezy for viewers, and the final image composited images of the armies is the perfect cap to each, really drives home the bit visually
Haven't played it in the current edition but ran 60 scions/3 command squads with Taurox Prime and a couple Valks in 8 & 9th. Surprisingly fun and not terrible. Trading out Valks and some Taurox Primes for Aquilon and more bodies seems legit.
Personally, these are some of my favorite episodes that you guys do. I’m just starting out, and between this and the grading factions videos I love being introduced to the weird underrepresented models in each range. I’ve started collecting orks and I would have never known about how funny a weirdboy leading 20 boyz is without the sniper video. And now I know CSM has some insanely cool looking shooting units in the obliterators.
A buddy of mine came up with a meme list for Tyranids using their grotmas detachment. I would recommend it. Neurotyrant with the enhancement to lead warriors, 3 winged Tyranid prime, 36 melee warriors, 33 ranged warriors for 1975 points. Yup 69 warriors.
Honestly love these episodes, and adore the Agents list! To be fair though even just playing the 4 Assassins with their upgrades is a meme on its own, like 500 points just for the 4 Assassins, and you cant even take advantage of the swapping rule because you have them all already.
As was said in the video, it’s hard to make an actual meme list if you’re theming based on Grotmas detachments. Pretty much all of the shown lists are perfectly serviceable, I’d only classify the Custodes and Imperial Agents lists as actual memes, the rest are just themed lists.
As far as meme lists go, I'm working on a list entirely inspired by the Sabaton song Panzer Battalion. It is one Rogal Dorn, nine Leman Russ, and a pair of scout sentinels.
Eric should be able to get the slaanesh daemons painted easily, prime with wraith bone/white scar or your choice of white primer, and then throw dreadful Visage over the priming layer. If you feel like putting in more effort you just wash with druchii violet and pick out the metallics with your choice of metallic paint.
I have a "full" Votann army (at least one "full" squad of everything they make so far - including the Necromunda Squats) and have no plans to ever actually play any of it. I just like the models. but I find these meme list army explanation vids really enjoyable to watch. Look forward to more!
The Wager list does really look pleasing with the symmetry. Both on paper and when you have painted minis on a table, even if you aren't deploying them in a mirrored way.
I love these episodes! I’m bad at list building and competitive list building is a little beyond me rn (I normally just grab models I like). So seeing list building but it’s silly/fun stuff inspires me to view list building as more of a fun thing
I love these episodes, my buddies and I used to send meme magic deck lists to each other back when we still played and this brings back a lot of those memories
I like these type of videos. I have never played the game yet (working on a 1000 point Ork list still before I try), but hearing list that are especially about trying to get the most guns or hammers or other weird ideas like it just are fun to hear. Like 'What army can have the most units' or 'what army can have the most pistols' and the like
This podcast has been one of the main driving forces of both dragging me into the hobby and keeping me there. Just about to finish my first 1k army (Space Wolves. Aren't you so proud Brad?) Absolutely love these meme lists. Was just rewatching the first one before this one went up so it was a funny coincidence! I'd love to see more episodes like these!

We love you guys doing these episodes. I don't have enough Breaka Boyz for this list, so... I'm gonna go get my Kommandos and Stompas back out for a game...😂
Honestly these and the every factions x unit type style of videos are by far some of my favorites. Also super good for a casual rewatch as background noise after the first watch
Great video And the meme for Votann is to run a bunch of solo deep strike characters to yeet at your opponent so that they die and give you your army rule in the Hearthguard detachment
My "meme" list for reapers wager was basically all bikes XD maxed squads of reavers one side and max skyweavers on the other, the whole idea was they would fly over units and cause all kinds of mortal wounds as the bikes raced around the battlefield (then they took the mortals off the skyweavers) but I'm still gonna do it XD
Meme lists are always fun to see how you can mold a stupid idea into your army. Would like to see the "Every faction's" videos grow to include some meme lists.
Love the meme list episodes. Sounded like Eric unintentionally made the grey knights list even more of a meme by taking paladins with Draigo when the general consensus is that the lethals off Terminators are what make him an outsize threat
I love this! And I have an idea for an episode, a Meme player plays. Instead of Meme lists, you build a Meme of a faction player, then build the lists you think they would bring to the table.
Mate I don't even play the game and these episodes are great. The delivery of the final list was friggin top notch, beaten only by the slow roll that was the Dark Angels meme list from a while back. The malicious glee when one of y'all has cooked up something truly wretched and can't wait to inflict it on everyone is wonderful.

It's fun to think outside the box and not be mindlessly obsessed with min-maxing or following the meta. So yes, these kinds of episodes where you play around with what's possible and trying themes and off the wall approaches are fun, especially as a change of pace and new flavor now and then.

We are forgetting that the scion detachment also buffs ogryn and ratlings. 30 sniper rifles hitting on 2+, re rolling 1s. Ogryn deathballs with 6 shots per model, re rolling 1s, str 5, ap2, 2 dmg
The Guard list reminded me of a stupid Guard list I thought up some time back. 2 Tempestus Command Squads, 2 5 man squads of Scions, 2 10 man Aquilons, and 2 Valkyries. Those are just to fill points, the real list was "oops all Sentinels" where your taking 9 armored and 9 scout Sentinels. This was well before the changes to the number of Sentinels you could take.
My meme list would be “Old Men Yelling At Clouds”, a Space Wolves list. Bjorn the Fell-Handed leads a Ballistus Dread, three Brutalis Dreads, one regular Dread, a Redemptor Dread, three Space Wolves Venerable Dreads, and three Wulfen Dreads. Exactly 2000pts, 13 models to represent the Thirteen Great Companies of the Space Wolves. It all fits!
