If your bolt and bracket get lost in the frame, you can align them from above. Lift the spare tire cover, remove the flat side panel and foam cap. You will see 4 circular reusable “stickers”. Remove them and shine a light from the bottom and you will see the bolt and bracket.
Quick question .On a 2021 Outback Onyx XT i don't know the make of the hitch my local business installed , the question is should it be making groaning moaning sounds while towing a 17' aluminum boat? Took it back they retightened and double checked everything but still does. They because of the uni body? And being no dead space like a trunk in car

11/16" Why mix SAE w/Metric?
The Draw-Tite # DT73RR you'd looked at uses 7/16-14 grade 5 bolts. No metric hardware.
