Classic Game Room reviews SOCCER for the Nintendo Game Boy from 1994 by Denton Designs, Elite Systems and Rage Software. Soccer is a capable and fun arcade-style soccer (football) game on the Gameboy that plays like a video game soccer game should. The game play is relatively fast-paced and the competition isn't too bad, the problem with Soccer is that it blends into the crowd of other soccer and football games! If you're living in 1994 and want to play Soccer on Game Boy then you'll probably be pretty happy with it. Choose your country like Germany, USA, France, Brazil, Argentina and Atlantis and then play a friendly game or tournament. You can even switch up your lines! Soccer is best played on a Game Boy with a color screen (preferably Game Boy Advance SP) because it isn't very easy to see on the black and white screen. Nostalgia! I had Elite Soccer for the Game Boy. It looks really similar to this game. I always played as Germany. Klinsmann is my go-to guy!

A flood of memories came back when I saw the thumbnail I used to play this game a lot when I was a kid probably first time I've seen it for 15 years! That's why I love this channel

Actually that was a good Gameboy title. The Gameplay and graphics are decent, the Sound ist pretty cool. IT had real rosters and the World Cup Mode is superb for a Gameboy title. Real venues realstic simulations. Overall that game had a great atmosphere!

We do, we use both terns interchangeably. Football is used more often, but we do use Soccer too

Judging by the cartridge artwork this would appear to be a renamed Game Boy version of the soccer game called Striker which was released on the Amiga and later on the Super Nintendo as well.

Keep in mind that CGR is (was/will be) recorded in THE FUTURE, so GTA V is old news in Mark's time.

I don´t mind it the game is Call of Duty or GTA, I love good games, but it´s true, a lot of big games are not as good as they should. For example, I liked Assasins Creed very much but I thinik it should have ended in Brotherhood or Relevations.

Well, the british sometimes put an "-er" at the end of words, kinda like saying a "rescuer" and at the time there was a lot of different varieties of football so the regulare version got to be called Association Football I guess, and then Soccer for short.

I admit. I don't like Gta. If I wanted to go to Target and buy some clothes, I could just walk out my front door and do it. If I wanted to go to the restaurant, I could just go there. I don't need to spend 60 bucks on a videogame just for that.
