I know I'm years late, but I'm so glad I've discovered your videos. Been living here all my life. Caught all kinds of fish where you are. I used to work at the publix at east port plaza. I was assistant manager and on my break for an hour (yes an hour I was usually there for 10-12 hours) I would go right where you were at and show my co worker what I would catch. Caught one of the biggest jack crevalle I've ever caught under that dock. Caught some nice snapper, Not bad snook, and my first red fish was caught there. Thank you for the nostalgia. Snook was a monster!
Tom - thanks for the series. I just move to PSL in Traditions and have been struggling to find good content on where to fish. This is very helpful. Maybe I’ll see you on the beach!
I always think its funny when us fishermen think were the only ones that know about a particular spot and that no one else fishes there...lol. I'm doing this RUclips channel for fun not a living so figured I would do a series to maybe help someone out that visits this area so they at least have a chance of going somewhere productive. If someone goes to a local tackle store and ask them for a spot they would recommend the ones I'm going to do.Thanks for watching and commenting it mean a lot to me!
Indian River Pescador No problem. I think it can become an issue when a channel becomes "big" (maybe 50k+). I have seen it here in Michigan on a Steelhead river. The poor kid got death threats in his comment section! People get crazy (too crazy).
Wow. Something you never see on these local fishing shows. Real Local Knowledge !!! Nice to share where to start ! I hope you get a sponsor from a good wader company. Your videos would help support their company. Can you share something : I might of missed it. Your lure selections. Artificial or live bait. I thought I saw you throwing a jig with a shad tail but noticed you dragging a floating bait system. Maybe go into that a bit. I’m assuming live shrimp from the local tackle stores?? Again well done.
I lived on Walton road for a year. I always fished at the park under the jensen beach bridge or further down the road in Stuart under that bridge. I miss Florida fishing. I do have a couple videos from Florida on my channel as well.
Another nice spot thanks , you have caught more fish in the last 13 minutes than I have surf fishing for the last 2 years LOL what is the donut you pull around and pole ? I found a spot about 75 yards north of middlecove got rained out but Tarpon were chasing bait .
The donut is my fish net where I put quality fish that I want a picture of which is what the stick is for.Its where my camera goes...lol.Thanks for watching.
I contacted the FWC and ask about the rights to fish under docks , they said as long as you do not tie up to dock or trespass we have the right to fish , the homeowner owns the land to the edge of the high tide.
Yeah, most everyone in the area that fishes regularly knows the spots. Won't affect it much. Kind of tough to access if you don't bounce, and roll downhill well. :)
GREAT idea for a new series! Not being native to the area, but now residing here, it is a real help to get suggestions of real productive places to try. You might want to add to your narratives for the record: time of year and day, air and water temps, tides, and tackle info. Nice job. THANKS! Will look forward to more adventures.
The Walton Shark!! LOL Heading out in about 15 Mins about a mile north of ya, guess it'll be your next stop on the tour. Going to try something different for me today. A Donkey rig Good job man
Didn't stay long, maybe an hour, wind was blowing about 25K. It was coming out of the SW so wasn't that horrible. Caught a few fish, 2 Juve e snook, a lady and a jack
Hey Sean thanks for watching and no worries about area getting burned by over fishing as the locals fish this area all the time plus we should worry more about what the discharge of the lake and other conditions have done to kill off all the sea grass which is 100 times worse than this video bringing a few more folks to the spot to enjoy catching a fish or two.
Nice going dude. I actually thought Gilligan's island just before you played the music. And by the way Wolf of Wall Street is my favorite movie. My buddies and I are always responding to eachothers texts or ideas with clips from that movie
Ralph Barton I couldnt resist putting the Gilligan's Island theme to that boat which I have passed by many times and thought of doing it I'm glad I finally got a chance and regarding the Wolf of Wall Street that is a great flick👍 definitely a guy flick😂
Great series. Maps show all kinds of public fishing spots that are not so secret. Some times I promote a privately owned fishing store/spot because if they don't make enough money they will close down and we loose another fishing spot. That is one reason why I have a kayak. I find my own secret spots.
I totally agree with you, Its very true every bait/tackle store when asked will tell there customers local spots to try .These are the spots that I plan to feature. Thanks for watching and the support.
Thank you sir!...If I recall your a navy man so what would you navy men refer to a boat in that condition as??...lol. I wanna a good one now so think about it and it has to be just as good as "Ditch Pickle" :)
Hey no problem Jim and to be honest you are one of the reason I'm doing this series. You asked me a while back about Walton Scrub and I told you that I was going to be doing a review of it so That's the next one in the series .I have to be careful though getting a lot of comments from folks telling me that I should not be telling folks locations to fish and that some might get mad. The comments have inspired me to do something special on the next one..lol.Stay tuned!
I knew you’d get some critical comments. Just to let you know there are some of us who appreciate What you’re doing. By the way, I did try Walton Reserve after you said it’s ok to park there. I got skunked that day but seeing all the fish you catch along the west side of the river makes me Want to go back and try again. Maybe I’ll see you out there one day!
Common sense!? How about some common courtesy! Absolutely nothing wrong with that! If it’s just for likes etc. it’s his prerogative. Most people won’t give up a fishing hole, he did! No offense but it’s idiotic you complain about it! Just be happy and enjoy the content this man provides us. It’s 🔥🔥🔥! Btw, there are ways for you not to even see his content. I’ll let you google how after you get off of google maps trying to pinpoint my mans exact honey holes.
Great video. I am a NY fisherman who visits a friend just about 2 miles from your secret fishing spot. I am a very experienced large and small mouth bass fisherman up North, but am a novice when it comes to salt water. Your video was exactly what I was looking for as I am coming down in February and can't wait to try my luck with the snook and trout. Any chance you could give some details on your hardware? Line type and size, leader?, jig size and type. Thanks, Keep up the good work, if you can actually call it work.
Thanks for sharing your catches. The Redfish have always been a little shy in that area.Once again in my opinion the lack of sea grass is the main culprit and seams like most of the fish along the west side are constantly moving through the structures in search of bait .That's why you cant really burn a spot along the river.I remember years ago when I could go to a specific flats and sand hole and catch Beautiful slot reads on every trip. I'm usually out there a couple times a week so just DM on Instagram if you want to meet.
Lisa I use a variety of brands and colors soft plastic baits and Jigheads. My next video actually will show specific brands that my brother-in-law do a challenge with proving its about finding the fish not really what we use. Thanks for watching as always.
Robert Agri Chillin' Outdoors Next episode is behind your house I see you kill the Bass back there.Just think "If you let them they will come" $20 parking and $5 drink and hotdog😂😂

Awesome Sauce Tom! The series, the video, all of it! OOhhh, there was a little rumble of thunder in the background to add even more punctuation to it.
Thank you sir!...If I recall your a navy man so what would you navy men refer to a boat in that condition as??...lol. I wanna a good one now so think about it and it has to be just as good as "Ditch Pickle" :)
Thanks for the info, especially about the parking areas, as there aren’t many along Indian River Drive.
