Can this be called a straight bourbon with this maple flavoring added?

Spent a good 5 minutes in the store looking at this bottle. Who doesn’t like maple syrup? But my experience with flavored whiskey has usually been the same, low proof with a ton of sugar and artificial flavor. Had to pass but being Knob Creek I assumed it had some quality to it

@@JazznRealHipHop it does…. But it is super sweet…. Can’t wait to see how it does in the future maple showdown… curious how it will compare

I never understood how Beam has so many flavored Jim Beam branded bottles like honey, Red Stag cinnamon, apple and orange but they brand the maple as Knob Creek. It makes no sense. On another note they just changed their name last week. They are no longer Beam Suntory. Now they are Suntory Global Spirits. Kind of sad that they got rid of the Beam name

@@lesscashmoremash Jim Beam the brand will still be there. But now it will be like Laphroaig, Makers Mark, El Tesoro and all the other brands they own instead of being the name of the company. End of an era

@@GOTAisMe There actually used to be a Jim beam Maple Product but it is super hard to find now. I got a bottle from working for their Canadian team. It is not good and it is not worth the price I got it for (free).
