Spent a good 5 minutes in the store looking at this bottle. Who doesn’t like maple syrup? But my experience with flavored whiskey has usually been the same, low proof with a ton of sugar and artificial flavor. Had to pass but being Knob Creek I assumed it had some quality to it
I never understood how Beam has so many flavored Jim Beam branded bottles like honey, Red Stag cinnamon, apple and orange but they brand the maple as Knob Creek. It makes no sense. On another note they just changed their name last week. They are no longer Beam Suntory. Now they are Suntory Global Spirits. Kind of sad that they got rid of the Beam name
@@GOTAisMe kind of curious why…. Did not know that… thanks… but will probably be like MGP changing to Ross and Squibb…. Not sure of anyone that calls them that yet
@@lesscashmoremash Jim Beam the brand will still be there. But now it will be like Laphroaig, Makers Mark, El Tesoro and all the other brands they own instead of being the name of the company. End of an era
@@GOTAisMe the scariest part to me is Jim Beam the name may be iconic…. But more important Jim beams overall prices have always been excellent… I hope that doesn’t change
@@GOTAisMe There actually used to be a Jim beam Maple Product but it is super hard to find now. I got a bottle from working for their Canadian team. It is not good and it is not worth the price I got it for (free).
I don't drink ANY finished, flavored or infused bourbon/whiskey just not my cup of tea 🤔. Alot of people seem to like them cause the shelves are full of different brands 👍😉🥃 Cheers
Non whiskey drinkers love it
@@richardknice6986 I can see why… it would go in or on anything you would put syrup on
Love Knob Maple…..little to sweet
I mix it with 101 or Buffalo Trace
@@richardknice6986 that was what I was thinking when I tried it… if it was in the 120 proof it would be deadly
I use it for my brown sugar bourbon glaze on ham and turkey.
@@Boone1981 that sounds excellent…. And like it would work perfectly!!
Sorry fellas not a review I’m interested in I don’t mix and not a bottle I’d buy. Next time!! Enjoy!!
@@umami0247 I totally get that…definitely not for everyone… but I did have to break this out to have the maple showdown that is coming up per request…
Can this be called a straight bourbon with this maple flavoring added?
@@gregburkhart9764 that is a good question…. Not sure if it was legally called that but just rechecked the bottle and that is what it says

@@JazznRealHipHop it does…. But it is super sweet…. Can’t wait to see how it does in the future maple showdown… curious how it will compare
