    I think that the least painful way to part with sentimental things is to give them to siblings, children, grandchildren, or nieces/nephews. That way, they're still in the family, and they can be handed down to later generations of relatives.

      That can be. But often times others don’t want those things and don’t feel the same sentimental attachment to them.

    And…. NOW. IM LOOKING AT MY FINAL …. Stuff… I want to let go… I can’t carry em.., any longer.
    Photos. Camera n video equip, sewing center n equipment,
    Paint n supplies.
    And lastly : towels. Sheets, curtains,
    …. I can’t carry it. No room. . N. Family doesn’t want it.

      @@kimesch9698 I also forgot to mention that I have two of my grandmother’s rings (a ruby and pearl one and her engagement ring). This is the same grandmother the bench belonged to. They’re much smaller and easier to keep than the bench!
