A lot of bands still play with 100 watt amps but mostly people go to Quad Cortex or Helix (i don't blame them considering how much touring costs) He is also forgetting the people that buy 10, 20 and 50 watt combo amps. It's less common in the metal community, but not everybody plays in metal band, also don't forget people who just play at home. Considering that his amps are based on JCM800, which is great for everything from blues to metal, he is making a huge mistake not releasing any combo amps. That's just my opinion.

I have boxes of pedals to the point where I use pedals as doorstops in my house. Now, since I bought my Fender TMP, I'm wondering will I ever use any of that stuff again, and the answer is probably not. I get better tones from my TMP than I do from my amps, without any of the problems associated with amps. With modeling, I have access to dozens upon dozens of amplifiers and hundreds of effects. I can create chains of effects without cables and batteries and all the other hassles. Last night, I spent thirty dollars and instantly had access to over one hundred different mic'd speaker cabinet options. Soon, we will be able to create our own amplifiers and effects, so musicians can really create the sound they hear in their heads. It's not cookie cutter copying. I'm guessing from the sounds of it they're basically a JCM 800 head that costs 3k....How in the hell is gonna re create a sound like that for less than a 1000 bucks and be 100 watts all tube
Sounds like they’re in a pickle trying to get top dollar for a design that’s been redone so many times, it won’t sell. Anyone remember the Schecter amps Hellwin? Sounded like another hotrodded JCM, didn’t sell because it was released in a saturated market at top dollar. They’re great amps and have some cool options, three channels, but tough to sell when compared to the other options out there.
Tell us you've never played through a good, modern modeler like a fractal without telling us, lol! It's funny how some think a head and a logo somehow sound better nowadays. They don't.
I’m a tube guy, but I’d be down to try an axe fx or fractal. The only reason I haven’t bought a modeler is because I’ve heard they don’t quite sound like the real thing. Sound artifacts and such. I’m content with my tube amps.
And? His amps are a modded version of a JCM800. Many amp and pedal manufacturers do the exact same thing. Not sure exactly what the point of your hot take here is.
@terminalvelocity4858 I mean, just exactly what I said. And things he has is just a design change from what he originally had. The first wylde guitar was nothing more than a les paul with some stupid body design changes. Amps are Marshall's with a w on it. Jeffrey is so not original.

Sure, if you want to pay $3k to sound like AC/DC...or maybe just spend a fraction of that and have that exact sound plus hundreds of others and way more options. The entire concept of his brand doesn't make sense. Nobody who isn't a dedicated Zakk fanboy would want something that's completely inseparable from his goofball fake Southern wannabe-viking biker image and public persona. Have you ever seen anybody play a Wylde Audio guitar on a stage, in public? They're the equivalent of the ass-ugly Paul Stanley Washburn and Silvertone signature guitars. Nobody except Stanley ever played any of those in public, they all hang in fat, middle-aged, white men's "Kiss Kaves". Plenty of professional musicians played some of the EVH guitars over the years - because apart from the "Frankenstrat" and Kramer-inspired ones, they don't look too "personalised". And the design doesn't look like something straight from the mind of a "Masters Of The Universe"-obsessed 12-year-old. Why the hell would anybody buy a fugly, overprized, slightly modded JCM 800? Get a real used Marshall and have it converted to 6550s. Or don't - because it makes no difference whatsoever when most of your sound comes out of EMGs into a 9V stomp box, anyway. People who still use 100W tube amps and 4x12 cabs professionally and are willing to eat the transportation costs/hassles for it, would never be seen on stage with something that looks so "personalised" for another player with an extremely "specific" (ahemm...) image.
You should send your resume to Wylde Audio. You know the ins and outs of the market and are clearly in tune with what everyone wants. Hell, you even know exactly what touring professionals want and all the way down to what bedroom guitarist need. You can even give your input into the amp circuit and how they need to be modded. YOU'RE A TRIPLE THREAT asset. They'd be a fool to pass on you. Good luck!

Digital and modeling suck!
Make it happen, Zakk! 🤘
But they don't suck even zw acknowledged that lol
Tell us you've never played through a good, modern modeler like a fractal without telling us, lol! It's funny how some think a head and a logo somehow sound better nowadays. They don't.
I’m a tube guy, but I’d be down to try an axe fx or fractal. The only reason I haven’t bought a modeler is because I’ve heard they don’t quite sound like the real thing. Sound artifacts and such. I’m content with my tube amps.
If he built limited runs of his custom amps I'm sure he would sell them all. He's hyping his amp line. He'll release them soon and they will sell.
He took the guts out of some marshall heads and reboxed them and slapped a his dumb fake W name on it.
@@cliffordclaussen2321 Jfc. Everyone gets it, you're just another Zakk hater and have nothing useful to add to a conversation other than more hate. By your logic, no other amps should exist other than the originals. Just take the L and move on.
@@cliffordclaussen2321 Jfc. By your logic, no amps should exist other than the originals. Everyone gets it; you're just another Zakk hater and only here spreading that with no useful context to add to the conversation. You totally lost your W and get an L instead. 🤣🤌
Just get a Marshall.
Sure, if you want to pay $3k to sound like AC/DC...or maybe just spend a fraction of that and have that exact sound plus hundreds of others and way more options. Sure, they are cool to have, but amp heads are becoming a relic of the past, and for good reason. It's funny how some think a head and a logo somehow sound better. They don't.
The only reason why I haven’t jumped on the modeler band wagon is because I’ve read they truly don’t sound as good as the real thing. Sound artifacts and such. But I’ve never played a high end modeler.. I’m content with my tube heads.
nobody wants zakks amps or guitars, they are just total junkers. 😂
Why? Do you have any proof of that, or maybe just talking out of your ass? Yeah...
His stuff serves a very very niche market. Zakks style is very much in the past. Sad, but true.
So in other words, NO.
Rubbish, get a evh Stealth
U ok bro?
Amen! I have been using modelers for quite a while now and a friend of mine recently moved to an FM9
Good luck!
