He looks animated, that’s one of the things o really appreciated Manson for back in the day, you couldn’t tell if he was real or not, he legitimately looked like a doll and it’s was so creepy, I LOVE IT 🥰🥰
He’ll never top Antichrist superstar . Part of the reason for that was because of Daisy Berkowitz. Berkowitz was responsible for a lot of that album . I was 11 when that album came out .Wish I could have seen Manson back then. Don’t really care to see him now . But Antichrist Superstar is a legitimate masterpiece on many levels.
@@zeusturquoise171 Idk why you guys keep saying Daisy affected the album heavily. Manson kept saying in his book that Daisy had no idea what they were doing and never participated and was just selfish and bragging
@@angelashinner You're aware that not only is his book considered satire but it wasn't even written by Manson, right? So take that with a grain of salt. It's widely known that Daisy was a huge contributor for both Portrait Of An American Family and Antichrist Superstar. In both the guitar work and the writing process. Listen to the demo of Antichrist Superstar and listen to all of the Portrait similarities, a lot of the sound is very much Daisy. And most of the guitar stuff and riffs were kept in the final release. Just played by different guitarists when he left. Don't disrespect Daisy and equate him to having done nothing when he's probably the bandmate most responsible for why Manson became such a big success. Whether or not what Manson said was true it's funny how so much of the album kept what Daisy wrote.
His scream sounds like the embodiment of the words "strep, shreik, needle, shard, scratch, streak, slit, razor, needle" its my favorite part of his vocals in this era
Of dozens if not over 100 live shows in my lifetime, this tour was easily the most theatrical and stunning I've ever seen. Single best performance anyone has ever put together, IMO.
I miss The Marilyn Manson he was back with dead to the world tour I miss the reverend My antiChrist superstar this clip is an unforgetable performance and a very good song
I saw him 2017 and it was awesome iff I knew it was the first and last time I would see him on stage I had buyed another ticked for the other show near just to hear him again... I'll miss u Manson may u rest in peace after your finaly lost your parents and your life. 🙏😭
I am getting so fucking sick of people saying "I miss the old manson". Each of his albums are a specific idea, and image . Even then, he's still the same person. Outside of a touch of moderation, Manson still feels the same way he did back in 1996. The issue, is that people just associate ACSS as Manson's founding, because it was our first taste or something we never heard before.
It's called getting old... He just turned 50 last week. Here he was about 30. He has definitely lost his voice over the years... Plus the drugs didn't help either... But he is still a great artist. Expect his last album was pure shit. But he just lost his dad a month he hit the studio. I'm really good friends with Mr bier aka M.W.G aka POGO which is no longer in the band.
i saw this live before it was released i was blown away. the theatrics for this tour were simply amazing every song had its own stage theme. he went downhill since then
Anastasia Jayne I’m reading his book now but do you know what chapter of the book that he talks about what you said (feeling like Christ and started crying)? would appreciate it 👍

is there any way you can e-mail me this video ? i would love to put it on my itouch because my version of this is such bad quality from the tape itself.
I was at this show! I was 17 at the time, 37 now. Still kicks ass!

I agree. I like his new music but His Antichrist Superstar-Mechanical Animals-HolyWood Triology was the best. And his fame was at it's peak.
