I'm so glad you did too! The homebuying conversation is a lot different today than it was when we were home shopping with y'all last year. Your home would easily sell for at least $100k more today... but then again, it was HGTV beautiful😍 LOL!

And if you back out of the home building process, the builder will sell your house for $100k more than your purchase price, so it's gonna be a win for them. On top of you losing your earnest $$.
You ain't lying! It's definitely a balancing act of pushing and advocating for our clients while still keeping things together when there's that much equity tied up in the build. I'm going through the same thing with the home my wife and I have under construction right now.
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving yep. We are 4 months out from our home completion. We settled on an inventory house (at the slab stage) that fit 75% of our “wants”. That base price jumped up $50k after the 1st of the year so we are glad we went under contract when we did! Congrats on your future new house!
