There is so much good authentic Mexican food in Minneapolis, as well as Vietnamese food, African food, middle eastern food, Italian food… the key is to go to the hole in the wall mom and pop shops that are run by first gen immigrants. Better than the touristy spots.
And sadly some of the best went out of business during covid times. But in Columbia Heights, St Anthony, Crystal, New Hope, Brooklyn Center all have some great ones. Wongs, Viet Noodles, Gion, Rose Garden, Lotus, for different asian places... Que taco is awesome mexican. Along with Theresa's. el loro, and more.
@@coreym5072 West Saint Paul and the West Side have several. I'd recommend El Destino Market for authentic street tacos, El Taquito and El Peneda on Robert for all around authentic, Garibaldi Mexican on Dodd is another good place. On the east side of Saint Paul, El Quetzal is super good and authentic. For Tex mex I'd highly recommend Boca Chica on Robert. Andele in Richfield that was featured here is also really good.
Just to clear things up, there are quite a few “authentic “ Mexican spots in Minnesota we have a large mex-am population a well as many many others. This place is good and super close to mpls and other cities
OMG, those cooked onions with balsamic and brown sugar, imma have to make that. That sounds absolutely amazing! Kind of a sweet and savory onion jam. With just a hint of funky from the balsamic, which i love.
i used to go to Tachos El Pastor ALL THE TIME when i was part of a predominantly hispanic work crew doing drywall, THAT PLACE IS STILL AMAZING as of 2023, moved out of the area closer to Duluth December 2023
Andale!! Lol.. Nice! I used to go there often when I was in town. I wonder how they got the parking lot so empty?? Even though they close and only have friends and family allowed when they shoot these videos but it is always packed. Even people from the gas station next door park over there. Amazing food! The little connected grocery store is awesome as well.!
In this video, what's very interesting is the fact that who would think that in Minnesota you would have a lot of different of different types of food but what's also interesting is the fact a lot of different people are bringing there food in the middle America I would never, and I am from Hawaii, I would only think of NYC or California
It's a little weird when you think that pepperoni is also a sausage... so it's just a sausage & sausage pizza... still a fantastic combo, no matter what you call it
Guy….seriously…you really NEED to go to Petro Truck Stop, in Fargo North Dakota…you will NOT be disappointed. The Schatz family are awesome people to know!!!

I remember a Minnesota based restaurant that was featured twice on this show. I don’t recall the name but it was a burger owned by a pair of young guys. Their first location had a fire and they had to move. If anyone remembered this place I’d appreciate the name and its location in Minnesota. Thanks!!
guy is a fake pos. he gets his car shipped in and actually spends 10 to 15 minutes in the restaurant. told to me by a restaurant owner that he visted. just here to see where he goes as every state has amazing restaurants and cafes. hit or miss.
Tacos al pastor, man in south texas we have soooo many taco stands and places 😂. They are all damn good. Taco palenque used to be good, but got stingy on prices and ingredients. 😂😅. The stands and small places deliver this kind of tastey tacos. 🍻🍻🫡🫡 Cilantro and onion .. we use that on everything! 😂👍
The 48 hour pizza dough looks sooo freaking fantastic and topped with the sausage, a little kiss from the fire...bliss!
Try Kyndred Hearth
Happy to have watched this. Minnesota restaurants aren't boring.
We have so many different food choices here. It’s great! Even on road trips.

Yes, I'm a bit biased because he was my friend for decades, no mention of Smalleys in Stillwater!
I watch these late at night then i am starving. I want to order it all. We have nothing like these restaurants in East Nebraska.😢
If I remember correctly. When Guy asks her about the copper oven. She told him "it costs more than your car".
Don't you just love this show y'all 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
One of my favourite’s!
It’s a nice change of pace from the usual drama filled shows I watch.

Minnesota without Gordys Hi-Hat? Is this even Triple D anymore?
That pizza looks entirely too greasy but otherwise very good
Poutine uses cheese curds, not shredded cheese.
I ordered poutine in Montreal. No cheese curds, just cheese.
