    put a Thrush glasspack on my 98 Sentra manual about a week ago, I am used to using Cherrys but they are not made in America anymore while the Thrush glasspack still said made in America.

      This is the Thrush Turbo 89027 kit from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-89027 The kit includes everything you need to make a dual exhaust sytem, collectors, h pipe, mufflers, tail pipes, clamps to bolt the pipe together, hangers to hang the pipes from the truck, and instructions. When I purchased the kit it was $264, it took a little over a month to arrive. I also got the headers from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g9006 Thank you for watching and good luck on your project!

    You did a hella nice job....sounds good...... do they have a set up like that for a 88 Chevy Silverado?

    • @billybuilds
      @billybuilds  Год назад +1

      Thank you! I see Summit offers a single exhaust setup passenger exit SUM-688012, and a single in dual out setup SUM-688350. I don't know if Thrush makes a kit, but the Summit kits are very comparable in quality and price at this level.

    What engine do you have? Just got a 67 c10 and it looks like same motor. Sorry new to this. Thanks

    • @billybuilds
      @billybuilds  Год назад

      I believe the engine is a 305 from a 1979/1980 Malibu. I've been told that a 267/305/350 is basically the same engine block. This engine has had all of the emissions stuff removed. I think I can throw in any small block chevy engine and it should bolt right up to the mounts and turbo 350 trans. Does your 67 a have a small back window? If you ever have any questions or whatever feel free to ask! Thank you for watching!

    • @santiagomoody2607
      @santiagomoody2607 Год назад +1

      @@billybuilds thank you for your response! The stamp on the engine block is 3970020. My research shows its from 1970-1973 small block. Im still trying to find parts for it. I need an alternator as well. Not sure if this is the same engine. its the big window

    • @billybuilds
      @billybuilds  Год назад

      Looks like you got a small block chevy for sure, I would guess a 307. All the parts I've used in this video should bolt right up to your setup too, including headers. But always do your own due diligence and confirm. This is the Thrush Turbo 89027 kit from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-89027 I also got the headers from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g9006 The alternator I got from O'Reilly, its a 63 amp Ultima reman, R111621A. it's designed to fit this style of alternator bracket that was in a 1980 caprice, but common on alot of chevy small blocks. Just confirm your style.

    What headers you using?

    • @billybuilds
      @billybuilds  10 месяцев назад

      These are Summit Racing headers SUM-G9006, comes with gasket. Used Trans-Dapt performance header bolts TRD-9943. I was able to install them from the top, only had to remove the alternator. It was easier to install spark plugs first, then headers but possible either way. I had to clock my water temp sensor in the cylinder head to clear the flange, or you can grind the flange there. Thank you for watching!!

    Woud this work for a 73 longbed c10?

    • @billybuilds
      @billybuilds  Год назад +1

      I don't think this kit fits the 73 style. Try summit racing part number CMB-05-0159 for something similar. Thanks for watching!

      These are 15x8" Rally 6 lug wheels from an 1986 k20 4x4 truck. I sanded them down and spray painted them with rustoleum hammered gray from home depot. Tires are cooper cobra radial gt 275/60/15. I got center caps from ebay. the Ride height is stock I believe. Thank you for watching!
