Came across your channel recently and you've inspired me to get back into Smite and play around with some different characters. there needs to be a health defense item that reduces crit chance by enemies by a decent but small amount. Wether it be an aura, when they hit you, or if you hit them.

You've never heard the phrase cookie cutter? If you have, it's an easy sentence to follow
It refers to a basic build that doesn't involve counter building or luxary items and is very common. Essentially it's just a baseline build that'd you would use when you're first learning the god/new to the game.

I usually play Clash. I want to see footage of high level players like Sam solo que into modes like that
Jeremy Gray the only thing you can do in clash is run a 5 man, it’s simple if you solo queue in clash, of you suck at the game you suck, and if you’re decent you’ll do fine, there’s no real strategy besides running a 5 man

Smite should add a double crit chance. Must have at least 101%crit, giving 1% chance at double crit. Double crit increases dmg by less than a regular crit, but enough to matter

New Freya isn't a SS tier god

her clear is bad and her 2 cooldown is also bad
Her clear isn’t bad at all.
Anyway, those aren’t even the issues. The problem is you can’t outbox a Freya at any level, and she can clear objectives a lot more easily. Also, late game is a guaranteed win for Freya, so if you’re against her as a late game god, well... you lose. (Unless the player playing Freya is bad, but that rarely happens lmao)
Freya gamplay made me cringe. In that matchup you always save 3 for Anubis 1. I don't think he did it once he just tried to outtrade him. IDK if he won I'm not done with the vid but if he lost he shouldn't have.

That first game was literally farm simulator. Matchmaking is such garbage. I'm in silver dual and I get stuck facing guys in diamond and plat all the time. It's so frustrating.
Yeah pretty much impossible to climb from low elo when you're matchmade against diamonds. The matchmaking needs looking at but most of the problem is just lack of players.
Need a bigger duel playerbase so matchmaking is better and more accurate for everyone.
@@Zlysium i agree, I just think people get dismayed because it is so hard starting out. I used to play a lot more and in season four I was plat in dual but now I just play an hour or two a week so I spend more time missing abilities then landing them. I don't mind losing games but If I am getting farmed 3 games in a row I'm done.
@@Alex9501950 Crazy how similar we are, I also was platinum in duel season 4. Had Master on Anubis and Poseidon before i quit the game up until 3 weeks ago when I came back. Have almost none of my old skill though and even though I decayed all the way to bronze I'm still getting matchmade against diamonds _every_ game.
Guess I have to make a new account to play on until i get good enough to return to my original xD.
@@Zlysium yeah it's tough coming back. I get so annoyed because I understand advanced strategies but I'm not used to the new items or god changes. Playing joust with people who literally don't know what to do can be terrible. But I almost feel worse when I'm on a good team and I'm missing easy abilities.

Watch a different video? There are people with lower skill that I'm sure can glean something from this. Watching one sided matches are also entertaining from time to time.
@@notjohn100 well because the title says grandmaster duel, i think my critique isn't out of place at all. Lately there is too many videos like this and i don't understand why. It's the same with rexsi. And im sure both have games against other high level players. This isn't about watching different videos, im just putting a constructive criticism on this one.
It would also be fine if they were then labeled correctly. I myself will never find ants getting squashed entertaining but i understand this is pleasing to the masses and therefore no reason to not put it on the channel under proper name
@@cromaniac96 the point is that Sam is a grandmasters player, and he is getting the smite classic, terrible matchmaking that I am sure we have all seen. I play around a plat-dia level, and I see the same shitshows, where the enemy team is either below level 30 or grandmasters. Just a lack of player base to get more even matches.
