Going to Samhain Witch Camp (and embodying alchemy) | Vlog 30

Soon after thanksgiving, on the October new moon, and 2 weeks before one of the most important initiations of my life, I met with my fellow witches in the woods and went to our Samhain witch camp. The truth is that I had every intention of filming a video that was similar in format to my first witch camp video at Beltane. But, this camp didn’t go as planned for me.
Samhain is a time of transformation and alchemy. it marks the end of a cycle, the end of the wheel of the year and many of us witches call it the witches new year. At this time on the wheel we welcome death and transformation as we end cycles and patterns, as we sacrifice the parts of ourselves that are no longer serving us and as we declare our intentions for our growth through the next turn of the wheel.
While at Witch camp, spirit asked me to look at my deepest wounds and sit with the emotions of it all. I was thrust into a moment where I began to understand how to alchemize my pain into my empowerment. This is the story of that journey.

My partner broke up with me during Samhain, which really hurt me and brought up past trauma, so I understand the feeling of dissociation and having to do lots of shadow work.
