I absolutely loved this year's solstice ♡ the video is very good and I love the idea of the wishing wreath, I'll incorporate that on the next beltane! Only thing I wish for is that in the information given you clarify, that it is a wiccan based system and a system that a specific tradition teaches. With that addendum beginners too won't be confused and the generalisations of paganism and wicca based traditions make more sense, as they are not the same. Only other thing I want to add for those looking for a discussion in the comments; yes, yule and Christmas have a very entangled history and many aspects of a pre-Christian solstice/mid winter celebration were conflated with Christmas, but that history is a bit more complicated than Christians stole the entire thing, feel free to do ur own research! I wish you had a merry solstice, yule, midwinter, Xmas, Hanukkah, or what ever you celebrate and that the rest of the winter time will be transformative and peaceful for you ♡

Like last year I talked to a woman from the USA that was visiting here in Sweden, due to the fact in Sweden the Yule Goat symbolizes the holiday and they are everywhere she was going around thinking Sweden was anti Christian. Due to goats are associated with paganism and many in North America think Yule is only for pagans. Both are not correct for Sweden, yes pagans do connect to the goat as a symbol and all that but here both things are very Christian also.
Nice vid! BUT I have to correct you, Yule, Jul is Christmas in Scandinavia! Here in Sweden all the holiday cards say "God Jul" and many people go to Church of Sweden which is a Protestant church and celebrate Yule! Do not come to Sweden and think everyone saying" Good Yule, Jul" to you in public, people speaking of their Yule dinners etc and all the decor, cards and the Church are all pagans! He hee. You will be very misinformed if you do! He hee. So what you speak of is correct in North America, but not in Nordic countries.
