I really enjoy your banter and topics! I've been blessed to kill a lot of animals in my short time. I'm 39 years old and have had a blessed hunting life. Many deer, elk, pronghorn, bear, waterfowl, predators, etc.... With a rifle. I picked up a bow this year after 14 years and it led me to this podcast and elk 101 among other archery enthusiast channels. I appreciate the knowledge sharing and clear information. Thank you for the honest dialogue. The difference between western run and gun archery and western rifle hunting is a challenge that defines a hunters' skills. I've filled my archery deer tag, but elk.... i had my first moment ever this year with a bull screaming at me from 100 yards... with my 8 year old in tow, and some of the topics you discussed here, were exact to what I experienced. The challenge is what makes the success worth even more. Thanks again for the freely shared info. Best of luck! The experience, for me for my first year in 14 years, was addictive!!
