Thank you so much for this song! Right up there with the best! ❤❤❤
Pretty damn cool.
Incredible: a whole rock opera in "just" one song ! The counselor is the real boss
They all play so deep and soulfireful
Grazie Maestro !
Damn Sil,
Still got the rhythm tunes.
Silvio has the makings of a varsity singer. 😂
GREAT SONG !
LITTLE STEVEN
FUCKIN’ COOL
well done CONSIGLIERE….
A big hug from Italy…
Great!!! Thank you for your music. I love you and your music since I saw you live on rockpalast-tv 1984! And your new show still blows me away. Please come back to Germany.
Big big Steven.......i love you....
Epic. An absolute triumph!! Thanks Miami. You got all the soul and spirit anyone would ever need.
Perfection!
Magnificent song from Miami Steve, aka, Silvio Dante. They used it in that wonderful David Chase movie, Not Fade Away.
Happy Valentine's Day, Stevie.
🎼🌹❤️🌹✨!!!
I swear, this is the third time this song's been recorded.
I love you Little Steven!
It's nice that I can trust you with my secrets Your reputation for discretion is well-known And I appreciate the glimpse into your misery Tell me just one thing and then you're on your own Am I still pencilled in on your calendar Am I still the late night call when you got nothing to say I know it's Thanksgiving Night and you say you love me
Am I still the late night call when you got nothing to say
But who'll be the last lover standing come Saint Valentine's Day
Was it adventure, was it fear or sanctuary That was a trip a bit far out, even for you I know you're busy directing your lifelong documentary You never mentioned what part you wanted me to do Am I still pencilled in on your calendar, Am I still the late night call when you got nothing to say I know it's Christmas morning and you say you love me But who'll be the last lover standing come Saint Valentine's Day
I held my cards close to my vest when the table got kicked over It's what wanted but your mouth said nothing, your eyes even less Now even your gallery of pigeons has been picked off by the vultures There's only one thing left for you to confess Am I still pencilled in on your calendar Am I still the late night call when you got nothing to say I know it's New Year's Eve and you say you love me Ah but who'll be the last lover standing, Who'll be the last lover standing Who'll be the last lover standing Come Saint Valentine's Day All right...
THIS is the sound of the E street band, why do you think Bruce's best records were the ones with Steve producing :)
Absolutely true!
Steve and Clarence made the sound with Roy, If they would not had been here for Bruce, who knows what success he would have had.
Mathieu.P.V. Kimpe
except chorus. But maybe It's Southside Johnny'sound. Listen great CD "better days"
@@borntorun7161 Definitely more the sound of the Jukes than the E Street band. Steve van Zandt is a phenomenal songwriter (and performer), but in his book (which is fantastic) he thinks his greatest gift is for arranging. And he is responsible for arranging the best Jukes records, and some of the best of Springsteen's records.
Nice sounding track.
The organ in cocktail slipers version, i miss a lot
BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL LOVELY
My one and onley love Stevieeeeeee
Just heard this on coworkers satellite and had thi know who this was.
Great song.
New Stevie Song - yay!!
it took him more than 30 years to put out a real great album, since Voice of America. Happy to listen to old Little Steven.
Freedom, No Compromise had its moments
brilliant track haven't listened to steves music before preordering album right now
do yourself a favor and get a copy of his first record: "Men without women" One of the greatest albums of my entire lifetime
Check out Los Desaparecidos.
June 7th, Amager Bio, Copenhagen. Be there! :-)
This has a high Bruce Springsteen feeling
Also sounds like Dire Straits with a hint of Bob Dylan mixed with Bruce.
sounds like Tom Petty...
brilliant track haven't listened to steves music before preordering album right now
They're not all this good,. "Men Without Women" is one of the best albums in history; "Voice of America" is pretty good. The next three? Not a big fan...
Soulfire is a nice comeback.
@@mitchberg8229 couldn’t agree more on MEN WITHOUT WOMEN; an inspired work of genius. The title track gives me chills every time. Saw the original band when that album came out. They just killed NYC.
