This might well be the best of her albums. And in her case this means a lot. Because she has made some great music in the last 3 decades plus.
I am so blown away by this work you’ve done. It’s speaks to me on a deep level. I had to hunt down the album cover art to confirm its Joan of Arc. I’ve been through it over the past 5 years. I wear a medallion around my neck with her image. It’s to remind me to be strong, keep my courage, keep my faith. 🙏❤️

I've been listening to these recordings since they came out. Ive been traveling back and fourth from MA to FL to take care of my mom and give my brother and sister a break. My mom has Alzheimer's and needs 24 hour care.
For some reason, this song just hits me hard and I cant stop thinking about my mom when I hear it. I have been a fan of Natalie's since 10,000. I think I own mostly every recording she has done. No artists nowadays can even come close to her songwriting and even her voice, much deeper now, brings a whole new feel to her songs. Her lyrics continue to just cut deep in your heart.
I was fortunate enough to see her in Boston in 2023, even thou those damn seats were made for toddlers, just sitting there, and taking it all in was like heaven.
I hope she makes a 'live CD' of this concert as she sang all her hits at the show. It was amazing.
I hope she continues to write and doesn't take so long between albums.. (cough cough, hint hint, only kidding) We need her now more then ever with how our political climate is and the uncertainty as our democracy lies in the balance.
I just keep telling myself, not to worry, as "LOVE WILL CONQUER ALL"
As for this specific song, what can I say...my favorite.
