I have two pair and love the fit and comfort. My first pair has over 4000 miles and have been resolved once. I still wear them as my primary boots. My only complaint is how easily your feet get wet. I'm going to try the new Drystar boots next.
Good afternoon ..thank you for the review.. I just purchased a pair of these Enduro Tech sevens this weekend.. I wore them around the house, and in the garage, doing yardwork, forgot I had boots on.. except for the strange caveman walking pattern ...Thanks again!🤙
I considered the tech 7s but went with the Gaerne fastback enduro, which has substantially more hard plastic protection. Great quality, still made in Italy. They do feel kind of bottom heavy. I also have some corozals from Alpinestars and I used to think they were a protective boot, and they are, compared to a road boot.
Yeah the Gaerne offer the best protection for sure!!! I just feel like the Gaerne's are a bit too bulking for my liking. I want to try the SIDI one of these days.
I wear the same boots and has been very happy i had the Youth size 7 and 8 and put well over 100 hours on them and now I have the adult size 9 and in what woods race i’ve kick the absolute crap out of trees and rocks by accident and by the end of the race my foot has never hurt and they’re definitely the most comfortable boot i’ve ever won I tried to Warren my dads Garnet and they were very stiff and felt way more plasticky then my tech sevens
Hello, what size shoe do you wear? I wear a 43 but I tried on some tech 7 number 9 which is equivalent to a 43 and it felt just right at the toe, waiting for size 10 to arrive so I can try it on.
i run tech 7s and love them, but as my RUclips channel name states, my feet get soaking wet if there is any water involved, i just ordered a pair of tech 7 Drystars and can't wait to try them out!
I can’t decide what size to get. The alpinestars size guide makes no sense. My Alpinestars Fastback 2’s are labelled US10 Eur43. But the US10 Tech sevens are labelled as a a Eur44.5. No idea how that works 🤷🏼♂️. I tried the US9 tech 7s on and they felt quite tight and wasn’t sure if they’d break in enough or become too tight in the summer once my feet swell. Also tried on the US10 and they felt huge. Disappointed really as I’d had my heart set on the tech7 enduro.
thats strange. Yeah its tough as different boots are different for peoples feet. I have both the SIDI and Gaerne 12's and they both hurt my feet but are the same size as my tech 7's....
Well i love the fitment on the alphine keep doing what you do guys you have inspired a lot of people's to share their experiences of ridding like me ruclips.net/video/A2De8eFiclM/видео.html
Great video, but I have a double D wide foot and these Tech7’s have plenty of room in the toe box. I normally wear a size 10.5 and I purchased a pair of size 11’s and they fit perfectly.
I have a pair of Gaerne SG12 and a pair of Alpinstars Tech 7. Tech 7 is very comfortable but for Enduro riding to soft. You don't hafe any protection for your ankle. They feel soft like Tennis Shoes. Around the calf they don't have enough space when you wearing Kneebraces. All this you can find by Gaerne SG 12. Real protection and big enough. You need a little time to brake in but then you have the best Quality on the market.
Yeah, they do wear out fast. I just picked up a new pair of SIDIs and a used pair of Gaerne SG12s to try out. However, I am switching most of our dirtbike content to our dirtbikesam YT.
Hi: like to hear comments on water resistance, hot on feet/sweat wicking and sole replacement. Trying to decide Drystar or plain Enduro Tech 7. Thanks!
You can replace the sole and while almost all the boots I have owned get hot I feel like the tech 7 do a pretty good job but I am SURE that the drystar will be much better for sweat.
I started out with Alpinestars Tech 3’s. Good boot. They squeak and I had to repair the sole from kicking the YZ over. I have become a better rider and need more protection cause I am charging harder and riding way harder terrain. I upgraded to Gaerne SG10 boots and they are far superior. Tough, bombproof, better buckles (the boots are very heavy) and should last awhile. Not an Alpinestars hater at all but they do not compare to Gaerne at least at the 3 level.
I appreciate that he speaks about that Alpine 7 so highly, but he really only speaks about that boot and how much he likes that boot. No comparison to other boots. He only says that for a mid price boot is the best bag for the buck. Heck if I only talk about my boot and been riding in my boot most of my riding experience, is that a fair assessment. I don't think so. Again I can appreciate his love for the boot, but think you need to try multiple boots in the that price range to say they are the best boot for the money.
Let us know in the comments below what dirt bike boots you have!

Yeah they don’t keep the water out all that well. Thank you for your input
I started with Hi Points years ago then switched to alpinestars and have never been disappointed.
Which alpinestars do you have?

Hahah.....they are a boot that you forget that they are on while wearing them. Thats why they are my favorite bike to date.

Gaerne SG-12 Boots Just bought them, little bit stiffer than the Alpine Stars and Sidi, but been wearing them, and softened up nicely !
What Sidi boots did you have? I have heard that the SG-12s are the best boot on the market

Haha yeah they aren’t the most waterproof boot! You will have to let me know how the drystars fair in wet conditions.
@@BackcountryLife They are on backorder but I should get them sometime next month! will definitely be doing a test on them for sure! stay tuned!

Nice long term review i been using the tech 10 for years but it feel a little heavy on the enduro rides that i do. There is any difference on weight?
From what I understand that Tech 10's are around 8.8 lbs and the tech 7's 10 lbs. The Fox Instinct I think is the lightest boot on on the market.

out of all my boots the Alpinestars have always fit the best but I am tempted to try Gaerne. Most likely I will go with the Alpinestars.
Yeah, I have been tempted by the SIDI and the Gaerne. as well.
Hi. I have a Tech 3. But after seeing this video, I will buy a Tech 7, asap. Thanks
I’m a big fan of the Tech 7

Looks like the soles wear out fast. My Sidi's are barely scratched on the bottom after 5 years.. Look comfy though.

How did you fit post 2014 buckes and straps onto boots that are pre 2014, when Alpinestars made the buckels differently?
not sure haha

You should try restoring the soles of your boots with Shoe Goo. You can make it nice and smooth with an ice cube
Good idea
A-Stars will actually replace the soles for a fee
Thanks for the info
My new (2022) tech 7 enduros have the plastics buckles
How are they holding up?
I just got them. 25 or 30 miles riding. This is only my 2nd pair of MX boots. I think they will be ok.
Next boots alpinestar tech 10! 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
Nice!
I wear a size 13 so I appreciate a narrow boot also. My feet are already big ao i dont want a fat, clunky boot making them any bigger.

Alpinestars are nice boots but don't fit me with a wide foot.
I have wondered that. While the narrow boot is nice...having a wide foot might not work. What boots do you have?
@@BackcountryLife I have an old pair of Berik boots but also a newer pair of gaerne sg10 and both are wider than the Alpinestars I have tried on.
My new pair suck up water like a sponge. Beware

Cow boy boots
