Susamaru can work like tenten, deidara and temari from storm, long range slow projectiles but low damage and very weak at close range. Its not like cc2 care too much about balance anyway

I used to do stuff like this lol. I have so many anime characters I translated for League of Legends. Example. Tanjiro Passive - Urokodaki’s Disciple Basic attacks splash water and have a small AoE. Q - Third Form: Flowing Dance, Four quick attacks on targets in front, can hit a single target multiple times if there is not four separate targets in range. Hold this ability to be placed behind the last target hit. W - Nezuko!, Nezuko pops out of her box briefly and kicks back any projectile in front of Tanjiro and sends it forward. Can also knock back and damage enemies. E - Cutting Thread - First press targets an enemy in range. Second press does a short dash towards them. While an enemy is targeted and in range, Tanjiro gains increased damage against them if they’re at low health. R - Hinokami Kagura, While active, all abilities and attacks are ignited with fire inflicting DoT damage. Also, Q gains an extra attack, W gains increased damage and E gains an extra dash while this ability is active. Tanjiro is briefly stunned after this ability ends.
Demons will come (pause). If it’s anything like storm 4, there will be boss battle mechanics as well as playable movesets. If they don’t add demons it’s like making a storm game with only leaf ninja.
I have an idea. Most likely won’t happen but I think it could be cool. What if when you beat the demons in the adventure mode (or whatever it’s called) you unlock them in the versus mode and then u can play as them.
Actually would make sense if they add demons just because the character roster doesn't have any evil counterparts to the hero's and it would be weird just to have hero vs hero's in the vs mode it would just feel more represented with the villains added to even out the roster
even if there is no universal range attack like in the ninja storm series i still imagine susamaru would play like the range characters did in storm the best example being deidara of course but i do wanna see globku do the spider mother and her headless puppet's moveset

Just saying this before watching I hope that rui has a lot of trap moves that rely on your opponent forgetting about them or they can be timed in the combo correctly to stun your opponent and keep the combo going (oUWUo)
Once you’ve done the main demons I’d love to see a spider sister demon moveset Best girl Shooting the big strings of web like whips or just as shots Shooting a “net” of webs that put people in cocoons like mei in ones justice While it’s not shown in the anime, she makes acid so she could implement that into some basic combos shooting it out at close range Also it would be cool if she could grab cocooned opponents with her strings of web and then swing it around hitting it into the floor and stuff, or swinging separate cocoons around her as an attack The ultimate I guess would just be some cooler looking attacks and then making a much bigger cocoon filled with acid to melt the enemy Also some basic scratches in her normal combo I guess too
For Sasamaru I'd recommend looking at the zoner characters from Storm like Temari and Shino. Their melee game was pretty weak but their shuriken button had much more in-depth combos. Maybe using that archetype could help pull some inspiration?
Btw guys, this game will be on the xbox game pass the day it releases. So even if there are no demons you can pick it up for a dirt cheap price (assuming you have an xbox / dont already have game pass)
Dude i hope they put the cinematics like dramatic finishes in the game maybe not in local or online but in story it would be cool to see the hino kami kagura tanjiro slash the webs or giyu using the 11th form of water breathing

Upper moon 1 and his brother could be dlc I feel like they would play opposite because of how there breathing styles are of course moon and sun breathing for the his brother I feel like he would be similar to sun breathing tanjiro but more refined and complete and for the 1st upper moon could play the opposite way as I said before
