  • Define your style in 3 easy steps! In this video, I’ll show you how to find, save and organize your interior design and exterior design inspiration, so that you can create a plan for your new space. It's easy, I promise! Your future self will thank you.
Mood boards, concept boards and actual sample boards for your design ideas will help you to see what YOU like, not what’s “IN”. Interior designers and architects use mood boards to make a cohesive plan for their designs and you can too, using the same tools as the pros!
You are 43% more likely to get the home of your dreams when you have a detailed plan, a mood board. It’s science, don’t argue! People who have a plan, goals and a clear vision get more for their time and money. A thoughtful and custom designed home for you, better results and an easier time DURING construction.
How can you chance those odds?
If you are thinking of a new interior design project, start with a vision of what you want from your new construction, remodeling project or renovation of your home.
You can’t hit a target you don’t define! So, that’s what this video is all about. When you start with your finished design in mind, you get it right, every time!
Don’t know where to start, too many decisions, you just want to sit back and wish it was all done and you could enjoy your home already? You’re in the right place!
You have to live there and it has to work for you despite what HGTV and others might show us is ‘hot’. Bath fixtures, kitchen cabinets and hardware, lighting and pantry design. Whatever you like, I’ll show you my simple and fun process to gather, edit and save your inspiration. You will then be able to...
Use that inspiration to get the interior design and layout you want.
I’ll show you some of my favorite online resources for gathering inspiration. Pinterest and Houzz.com will make it easy to do. You’ll learn how to organize and store your inspiration to simplify your work later on by having resources at your fingertips. From kitchen showrooms to appliance manufacturers and lighting design, you will have a clear picture of your style and what you want.
These are some of the great resources for shopping and sourcing materials, finding interior design decor and accessories with dupes or less expensive options.
I’ll show how I create categories for lighting, faucets, sofas or even paint colors so it’s really great for finding and sharing interior details when you need them.
When you know what you want, you get a better end result! By gathering ideas and inspiration, you have a clear and concise vision.
