Mixwave: Lorna Shore - Austin Archey Demo

Mixwave and Austin Archey of Lorna Shore just dropped this absolute monster of a kit so it'd be rude not to take it for a spin.
Had a blast putting this demo together. The snares in this library absolutely sing!
All I've done with the kit is tweak the default preset and throw saturn on the shells to tame some peaks. The only other processing is a master bus compressor (typical Nolly fast release trick) just to glue the mix.

The kit sounds different here than the mixwave demo. What kind of post processing have you done if any? I love the sound of the kit here but didn’t love it in the actual demo video, I’m just wondering if I should get it or not

Hey, thanks! glad you liked it :)
I put saturn on the individual shells just to add some more vibe and shave some peaks off, other than that there's an instance of smash and grab on the drum bus just to glue things a little better. Hits a master bus after that's a typical high/low boost and the usual fast attack Nolly style compression.
That's more or less it from the top of my head, they really don't need much to sound good. Historically I've not really vibed with pre processed kits but found myself really liking this one!

What velocities are you using with this kit?

110ish for the most part, 120 for the super hard hits. Couple of the double crash and downbeats are at 127!
