- In this tutorial I'll be demonstrating how you can easily fit the artboard to your artwork in Illustrator. This is something that's particularly useful if you're doing something like finalizing logo files for yourself or a client.

Thank you for not manking a 10-minute video about it (like most videos out there), and keeping it sort, comprehensive and on topic 👌 it's exactly what we need
Thanks for going straight to the point and answering the exact question in the title

This tutorial has save my sanity. I've been struggling with this for HOURS and you've shown me very simply how to achieve it. Thank you.

I was going to say the same thing. The title is misleading.

Can you tell me how to do the reverse of this
My logo keeps on fitting with the art boar when exported.
I want to export it png for with a big background
Thank you; very helpful! May I ask, what are the advantages or reasons for making the artboard exactly the same size as your (grouped) art? Does it just make it a less cumbersome document, or what would the reasons be that you would do this? Thank you!
do you know the short cut of this same system with a little change that is the existing artboard will fit with this artwork not create a new artboard. Thanks
bruh just select "fit the artboard" in montage area settings
Thank You!
CTRL + 0 (Object -> Artboards -> Fit to Artwork Bounds)
OMG thanks a lot!!!!
Great tip Sir...thanks
I want to create a round jpg. Can I create a round artboard to fit the round object and save as a round jpg? I want to place it over a photo with no artboard corners showing.
Can you change the shape of the art board?
What if artboard is bigger than your illustration will it make any difference? I'm new to Illustrator and just wondering what are the practical use of illustration fit into artboard?
It doesn't make a difference. The Artboard Tool allows you to create a new artboard that is the exact size as your illustration.
@@DesignMadeSimple any other shortcut of it?
Does anyone know of an Illustrator action (or something similar) to automate this process?
that dose not answer the question 😢😢
i want to make the object fit the artboard Not changing the artboard size, not hte opposite like you mentioned
i want to do what your thumbnail says 😒
Title says: Fit your Artwork to the Artboard - what you did: Fit Artboard to the Artwork. You know? opposite around .... so? Thank you for nothing?
This is the exact opposite of the title and not useful at all.
Thank youuuuuu
