@@connorbeith3232 If you believe the popular theory that Smash Bros. is in the perspective of a kid playing with his toys who grows up over time, it's not farfetched to say that he as a kid would've imagined such "cool" voices for the announcer and the Hands.
My personal favourite dialogue with Master Hand is when he tells Mario about how he won his Medal of Honour for his “heroism” in Vietnam. Sure I understand that his vivid description and the accompanying images might be a little too gruesome for the younger children. But the way the scene went back and forth between Richard Nixon’s speech about the event at the ceremony and the actual event (narrated by Master Hand himself) and how they highlight the difference between the brutal and tragic reality of war and the more acceptable “sanitised” version of events people like to tell themselves is just a true masterpiece of cinematography and makes the scene so much more powerful than it would’ve been otherwise. It really makes you understand how Master Hand became the broken man we see when we finally met him.

this isn't master hand's voice, this is the announcer's voice. i know theyre both played by xander mobus, but imo he does a slightly different voice when he does the master hand laugh than when he says "ready? go!" and the fighters' names
