When I red the title I thought that everything had gone wrong by you calling it a Fantastic Mess, but it looks like it was a fun time except for the fireworks not going off. I have never been to Disneyland or DCA but they look like they always get the better stuff compared to WDW. Even the better events. I love that Pizza Planet Popcorn Bucket and the Slinky Dog sipper. I have a feeling when I finally make it out to California I am going to need another suitcase for when I return cause I am going to buy too many souvenirs. lol.
