Ordered a non res black tip milltek catback for my 2016 A3. Waited 3 months for it, paid a grand.....and it's barely louder than stock. Nice quality but don't expect much without a downpipe. So far I've done intake, turbo muffler delete, turbo inlet, and catback and the car still doesn't sound remotely aggressive. Kinda sucks for the money spent. Time to do the downpipe I guess.

Great video! I'm curious. I have an 8V A3 w/ Quattro (Premium Plus). Could I literally buy the Milltek S3 cat back (quad tip) and install just as easily plug and play as long as I have a rear diffuser that has room for quad tips?

Yes it’s only the cosmetic look difference, and as long as you have the diffuser with room for quad tips, it shouldn’t be an issue

when you install this where's the catalytic converter

they are on the downpipe not the catback, one is near the engine and one is about a foot infront of where the catback begins (about directly under the shifter)
