We stayed here april 13 to 20. The beach is open again. 3 restaurants, one bar, bali beds, pool, chairs everthing.

Nice, very informative and overall great content.
The view is incredible! I do like the master suite. Nice to separate the bedroom, especially if friends come along or visit. The water in the pool looks inviting and relaxing. Sounds like a good hotel with a few issues.

You mentioned that finding solitude or quietness was hard to find. We found the Explorian directly behind it! If you stay at Explorian in the jungle area, it is quiet, beautiful and you can use both properties if you stay at Explorian. They even have all inclusive that has excursions. You should visit there and make a video. I cannot find any newer video reviews of it.

James you surprised me. I thought you were done with the Cozumel videos and I figured this was your next in the Jamaica series. 😂 Aside from the safety concerns of Mexico the two issues I've always had there are weather and the beaches. I've never had great weather in the 6 times I've been there and I've never been on a good beach.
James threw me curve as well going back to a Mexico video! If you ever go back to Mexico -hit the resorts in the “playacar” -a gated resort zone just south of playa del Carmen. Most people agree…this is the best stretch of beach in the Yucatán peninsula (albeit, a little windy and wavey during winter months).
@@matthewjohnson1211 Thanks for the tip. Last time I was in Playa Del Carmen and the beach was very rocky. You could not walk in a lot of areas w/o something on your feet. There was this great bar in town on the beach. The building seemed like it could fall down at any moment but it was a really fun place w/live music out back.

@coolist FYI you are not on the main highway. You pulled off the main highway in order to take the one way service road to the resort.
Bro! You should had tried the Explorian! It’s directly behind you in partnership with the fiesta. They have super quiet bungalows in the jungle. You get all the amenities of the fiesta but the quiet tranquil setting like we all love. The fiesta people also cannot come back to the explorian. Better food, better pool, and self serve bar! They literally just give you a bottle of whatever you like or they will make you drinks.
The views are breathtaking and I realize Cozumel is a quiet paradise but I still need the action on demand of QR. If I was totally worn out...maybe...because it is lovely
Haven’t had maracuya in some 23 years. Had it in Ecuador but don’t recall ever seeing it in Mexico, or at least the parts of Mexico I’ve been to (beyond the border), which are Mexico City, Orizaba, and Veracruz
El cielo is the best water I've seen in cozumel. I would love to see your review on Atelier, impressions moxche, secrets playa blanca, secrets the Vine, and grand Fiesta Americana

All looks great but not being able to have a traditional beach is a deal breaker for me. But it is nice if you can careless about the beach.

It was too roadside motel for me. I can see some appeal for a younger crowd though.
I have been to this resort and this was the worst, dirtiest,worst food, high pressure sales to a time share.
What I want to know how the hell do you stay so skinny when you have all that food around…
