Final Fantasy I was the very first RPG I played. Listening to this right now makes me remember the day my dad came back from town and showed me the game's box in his hands. It quickly became my favorite game on the NES. You have an incredible talent Kara.
I love the town theme from Final Fantasy 1. It has such a nostalgic feel to it and takes me back to my childhood. I felt like that food critic from the Ratatouille movie once that familiar melody kicked in. Thanks for sharing this amazing performance. 😊
I discovered you this night with the Big Blue theme and I spend almost an hour listening your performaces, you are amazing and I love your passion while you play. Thanks for this amazing music, so nostalgic. Thank you so much, you made my day.
Wow thank you, welcome in and hope you enjoy the music on my channel! I also do live streams on twitch and tiktok if you’re ever interested :) have a great evening!
RPG town themes make the best relaxing background music. Thanks for letting me add more 'Kara' to my town theme listening. Keep up the great play! I hope you're having fun with this, too.
FFVII was my first FF, and blew me away so much I went back and played the ENTIRE series while waiting for FFVIII to release. Not sure if it was the realization of the grand history I was starting to share, or that the music was beautiful from the very beginning, but almost every title made me shed a tear. The town theme and Matoya's Cave from FFI are still unforgettably etched in my memory.
When I first listened to this arrangement, I had only played the first game of these three. now, a year later, I've beaten one and two and I'm working through 3. All three of these pieces have so much meaning to them for me now and you've arranged them beautifully.
Playing this while watching the sun set took it to a whole new level. Amazing arrangements played beautifully. Thank you for brightening the world with the talent that you share.
Being completely unfamiliar with these games, nostalgia does not apply here, but it wasn't needed. You've made such beautiful music here that it doesn't matter what its original purpose was; it's just lovely. I needed a peaceful moment after a long day, and here it is. Thank you for sharing so much loveliness with us!
Kara, you keep making me re live my childhood with these FF pieces...thank you ^_^ I can't tell you how relaxing it is to throw your channel on as a playlist in the background while I work...its cathartic.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, not my favorite games but definitely an OST not to underestimate when you're reaching piano collections and arrangements. Thank you !!!
Her music is truly profound. It comes from a rare kind of soul that is able to cast a significant amount of light upon darkness. In my opinion she is able to manifest both vividness and peace with the same degree of intensity. Thank you for sharing your gift with us Kara! P.S. Please try to record more videos with your sister. I love to listen to both of you playing together.
Wondering if there's a Town Medley from FFI to FFVI, Kids Run Through the City is a must among them XD Seriously, it's one of the most beautiful melodies from the series, and you made it justice. Well done, Kara!
My little magnificent piano player. You are absolutely amazing doing this. You just fly above it. I know there's composer. But you're the grearest performer i've ever may pretend. I have no words really, i just love you. Your biggest Russian fan.
Another amazing cover! Could you check out "Wood Carving Partita" from Symphony of the Night. It's such a great classical piece violin and harpsichord. I think you are talented enough to transcribe a full piano version!
@@KaraComparetto Now that's super-cool. You are without a doubt the most creative pianist I know, and that extends far beyond the piano to every area of your life. You are such a versatile, amazing person.
Have you ever considered doing your own adjustments to the pieces you play? A bit of improve, add a note or a small run here or there to a song at a spot where it just seems to call out for a bit more? That aside though, the first three Final Fantasy games show such a huge range of emotions in the town themes and the medley of them feels like it's showcasing those differences and building on what Uematsu learned with each new game! Was a joy to listen to it!
These arrangements rarely need it but yes I do change a note here or there. I just don’t tell anyone where, so unless you know them perfectly, you wouldn’t hear it 😁
ff2 town theme has always been my favorite. A lot of people didnt like 2 but its one of my favorites :) also: I remade the town of Cornilia in Dragon Quest Builders :)
@@KaraComparetto You are a genius, excellent job. There is a really cool Angel Beats anime OST. I believe you will like it. Greetings from the Brazilian people to your work. Thanks. ruclips.net/video/eJIfjTGDfOE/видео.html
I'd bet 5,000 gil that you could play some awesome arrangements of boss battle music from the various Final Fantasy games, such as "Fight On!" from Final Fantasy VII.
This was a nice play although a bit too linear for my taste, I add usually more tempo variations. In the fourth measure, it is a natural C and not a sharp. ;) On the score, it says "rit" which means ritardendo, in other words delaying. You act like it says “rall.” rallentendo, slowing down. Many passages must therefore be restrained and not slowed down (eg at 2'30). Then, the adagio must be slow as its name indicates, but this means also "at ease" and there you hit it too hard the notes which are however written pp (pianissimo), therefore very very soft, like a whisper. The rest of the adagio is in principle always adagio and you quickly start allegro, which adds a technical difficulty because the passage is not so easy. At the end after the arpeggiated notes ("the descent"), it is still noted "rit" and we barely feel it and it would be more of a "rall." in your interpretation. Finally, on the final sentence which begins for me at the letter H, it says "a tempo" and you are doing an accelerendo in my opinion without purpose. Personaly, I immediately resume the beat (allegro) at the letter H, it's the end of the piece, you should start straight away without waiting and it should be allegro, not adagio. Three measures before the end, at the eighth octave level, you make 3 note errors, so it ends strangely. Other than that, the performance was clearly enjoyable. It's a medley, in other words it's a collection of pieces. I play each part as if it were a separate piece. The end of the medley takes up the themes, it's adagio, it's majestic and therefore the tempo must be quite slow otherwise it doesn't make it any more majestic. This is a great piece, I love it and play it every day. Thx
@@pierredenis2559 I’ve played so much classical music in my life and have actually broken away from being exactly perfect to what the score says than I used to be! Kara playing warm and fuzzy songs while wearing a warm and cozy sweater. No complaints here
My only complaint is that it's still so stinking cold! It is a good look though. :)
