Glad to see you both happy. I've recently read that the barf diet (raw foods) are supposed to be really healthy for dogs, I'm obviously no expert but give it a read if you're interested/curios
My dog has eaten barf all his life (2,5 years) and also sometimes gets a little „treat“ from my food (only the stuff that’s not unhealthy for him) and he’s so much healthier than all of his siblings who have changed from barf... I can only recommend it

If you want a healthier, less fatty treat for training, anything freeze dried is the best! Liver, chicken breast ect... Check it out! It's one ingredient (whichever protein you get)

I have a chaweenie pup myself. i would recommend switching her to not grain-free food and treats. Cats are able to eat grain free because they are able to create the amino acids naturally but dogs need the grains. Its better for their heart, kidneys, liver, etc in the long run.

Hey! Im not sure about what the McDonalds' are like in Maryland but I know in Canada they cook their hamburgers in a layer of onions and onions are toxic to dogs! So if you're taking Maisey to get a hamburger make sure they're cooking it without the onions!!!
