That one game has more umpires than my whole league when I was 12 lol.
When I was 12, this is literally how the umps called games.
Where's the guy one guy that stand behind the plate smelling like booze and the 95yr old standing somewhere around 2nd base getting in the way of the ss with every ground ball up the middle. Lol

Tell me about it, I was a little league umpire for several years and I probably worked 70% of my games solo it was ridiculous.
Our umps were drunk, so no different. 😋

I love watching those little kids play baseball for the fun of it. Their parents and sometimes even siblings are there cheering them on- it is just a good wholesome, healthy family activity.

I refereed both youth and adult amateur hockey for USA Hockey from 1997 to 2015. It's not as easy as people think it is...
These volunteer officials are trying to do the best that they can...

He’s signaling safe because the outfielder dropped the ball so he’s saying the batter was safe. Not really his call if ump is at third base but this was a prank anyways

This has been my first year of helping out in Little League with 7/8 year olds. I feel like this was fairly tame. If you were in my area you might not have made it off the field.
