The 2 simultaneous music tracks I could've done without tho
This is an engineering masterpiece!!! So many moving parts and simultaneous operations working together in perfect harmony!
If you know anything about engineering you know that it doesnt always run as planned lol
this is what white people can do when not under constant siege and pillage of "DIEversity'
Hey ... anyone knows how they managed to achieve such precision? ... They use laser, powerful computer?
Please calm down. It's standard tunnel boring practice just on a larger scale.
Was going to comment similar but you said it better.
Engineers are the one who keeps the world running.. Massive respect to them
I thought Girls get it done and we don't need no man.
i've been part of the Marti Group for 13 years. so proud of watching this video
Your work is absolutely incredible and very much appreciated. My full respect to you good sir

I've heard before that the Swiss do tunnels better than anyone. I'm beginning to understand. Civil engineering doesn't get any more serious or impressive than this. Amazing work.
The Austrians are just as good.
Truth. I've driven through them.
Fact is Swiss companies are mainly building tunnels in Austria and Austrian companies in Switzerland. Thanks to the weird bidding rules in Europe. This tunnel was in large parts built by STRABAG, based in Vienna.
and all TBM´s come from the Herrenknecht AG so who cares, all Construction companys using the same equipment, you can see it in this video
Elon Musk developed all TBM concepts right after he invented rockets and electricity. It's true! Just ask him.
A masterpiece of human ingenuity, serving as inspiration for all the students out there, showcasing the potential that studies and sacrifices can lead to. Let it be a reminder of what can be achieved through hard work and dedication. 👏
I hope people never get tired of the marvels of engineering. Stuff like this is a spectacular demonstration of intelligence and cooperation, and those are the most vital traits that ensure we can maintain a society.

The animation is just as impressive.
The designing of the different components of the conveyor belt and their smooth interplay is truly impressive. The fact that most of the materials are also created by the same company and can be specially fitted according to the shape of the tunnel is ingenious. This makes the process as fast, safe and efficient as possible.
Almost top 20 countreis has this tech not someting new :)

I don't know what you are talking about, that machine definitely looks like a lot of fun - not boring at all :P
Man you guys should come and build our roads and bridges here! We really need companies like this.
This is one of the most magnificent displays of engineering: all the intricate parts and the choreography of it all coming together.
Mind-blowing!!
This is a men’s world built by hard working men. Sincere respect.
This is unreal. We know our race is smart…but this just brings it to a whole new level, I can’t even begin to imagine the engineering and time it takes to design and build all this. Amazing
WOW !!! I knew it was complicated to drill a tunnel, but I had NO IDEA it was like that. To not only drill a gigantic hole thru a mountain, but to seal against ground water and build a rebar reinforced concrete pipe with a secondary ceiling and all those work platforms and jigd and lifts...there was some hifaluting brainstorming going on to come up with that system! WOW
The guy who invented this definitely does mushrooms

These are the guys that we will need for colonizing the moon. Possibly one of the most amazing and coolest things I have ever seen.
Why should we colonize the moon 😐
There are too many reasons to list in this reply but you have to imagine the possibilities of deeper space travel which in return gives a deeper understanding to the universe we live in. If the first aquatic creature to "step" on dry land didn't take that chance, who knows where we would be on the evolutionary scale. Excitement, adventure, only Jedi crave not those things;)

@@vaneela3377 Switzerland has so many mountains where they can't use the land for cornfields so they have many cows who can eat the grass which grows on the mountains.
@@Tom-ku8bu most of the land on earth is semi arid and unusable for agriculture, however grass grows great and cows eat the grass. Meat is good for the environment, it is vegans destroying the planet.
@@Tom-ku8bu corn isn't even that healthy for you. Maybe if we had the stomachs of termites... plants have cell walls, animal cells do not. Amazing engineering breakthrough & solutions to mega tunneling projects. Bravo, Marti...
This is unbelievable, it's mind bogling how complicated this machine is . I didnt think something like this could be possible.
I am way more impressed with this machine than the James Webb telescope.
It's easy to be impressed by heavy engineering. Most of the ingenuity behind the Webb Telescope is out of sight. Just think about the communications problem alone. Think about the launch and deployment systems. Think about the alignment systems and its resolving power. The whole endeavour is staggering. This is very impressive but it's just drilling a hole, on Earth.
Simply brilliant.
