MTA Double Decker Express Bus Debut on the X17J

This was the first double decker bus owned and operated by the MTA. It was only experimental, running for a trial period of 30 days in May 2018, May 1st being the first day. It ran on the X17J route (before the SIM system was enacted), from 57th/3rd in Midtown to Arden Heights, Staten Island through New Jersey. This bus needed to go under the Lincoln Tunnel as the tunnel was the only one large enough that could fit this bus.
