    I started using Elementor, then went to DIVI, next Brizy and now Oxygen... I've tried them all.... Elemntor is expensive with annual cost (no lifetime) DIVI has lots and lots of library templates (first class design) but DIVI just drives me mad.... it isn't long when you have to start injecting CSS manually.... Brizy is really good especially working with images; scale and panning the image to sit in the div is so powerful, also there cloud design feature is outside the box, it also has white label so you can call it your own builder. HOWEVER Oxygen for it's sheer power to manipulate anything (including elements from plugins) you can target anything also Oxygen has a template feature where you can share (with key code) templates over between WordPress installations so any one who has the key code can access the other WordPress templates. Meaning you could develop content for a client and share it with them AMAZING!

    Please review version 3.2 of Oxygen. It's said to be much better than 2.0.

    Don't need a link wrapper? When you have selected the image there is a chain-icon at the top where you can set the link. If I am not mistaken :)

    I found this video when I searched for oxygen vs elementor. This video was uploaded 2 years ago but from what I see... I'm switching to oxygen. I teach Web Design and this is just like creating a website from scratch even though it's on WordPress.
    I need to learn oxygen so I can redesign my site with it and hopefully teach my students too.

    Can you create a comparison video between the builders

    • @RMSAnalyst
      @RMSAnalyst 5 лет назад

      They cannot be compared because Oxygen is a WEBSITE builder, not a page builder. There is NO theme in Oxygen because it is a website builder. It has a learning curve & if you are not prepared to learn, but just want a point or click, Oxygen is not for you. They are charging $99 for LIFE - not just version 2, but LIFE! Louis R is an amazing WordPress designer with integrity! UNLIMITED WEBSITES & UPDATES FOR LIFE!

    I am new to WordPress. Recently I looked at all the Page builders and all of the sites I see built with them are very slow. I haven't yet purchased Oxygen and why I haven't is because there isn't an easy way to see the sites built with Oxygen. The one site I found has pretty awful sites on it and the sites are very slow. What does everyone think?

    • @RMSAnalyst
      @RMSAnalyst 5 лет назад

      Oxygen is not a page builder. It's a site builder. You cannot compare Elementor with Oxygen because the first is a page builder and the second, is a site builder.
      If you want to build something without having to understand how, then use Elementor. If you want to understand how to really design and code, Oxygen is in a different class. Version 2.1 has now been released, with 2.1.1 for WordPress 5. Read what Louis has to say about O2 development. Unlike Divi, which has frequent updates because of bugs & bloat, O2 is lean, with clean code. Develop to ensure few bugs & bloat, is infinitely better than having a product which favours glitter. In the final analysis, choose what YOU want.

    Ferdy, last month you did a great video about Divi and now there is Oxygen. I'm confused between them both what to choose I like them both.. I do have knowledge of HTML & CSS. I want to make some retail website and real estate. Maybe you can suggest which 1 pls? thanks for your great videos.

    • @ferdycom
      @ferdycom  6 лет назад

      Hi Steve, I would go with Divi. That pagebuilder is older and I have a great tutorial about it :). With Divi you can also apply custom CSS.

      Divi is a page builder. Elementor is a page builder. Beaver Builder is a page builder. Oxygen is a site builder! You can't compare apples with pears! If you just want to drag and drop, not worry about bloat or clean code, Divi is for you. If you want to understand how to build a website, learn code and the tools needed, demand it is lean and has clean code, Oxygen.

    Obviously this is great if you have HTML knowledge.. Even then the functionality of this page builder is not completely streamlined yet (like the example Ferdy made with linking text).. Looks pretty nice but I still like Elementor better

    I'm a fan of Beaver Builder in combination with Beaver Themer. I don't come from the web design background. This seems like a cool one, however, I'm afraid it takes more time to make sense of it. It's full of 'div' etc, which is a 'language' I don't speak yet. A few questions:
    1. My challenge with Beaver Builder + Beaver Themer is that if I install a theme like Astra or Beaver Builder Theme all my websites look kind of the same. Do you think it is easier to make more 'unique' looking 'themes' with Oxygen?
    2. What about clients building pages on their own? When I'm done, they may want to build a page on their own. With Beaver Builder, even a kid can put a nice page together on his own, and I don't need to do much training... show the basics and let them play around. This seems too complex to be handled by 'lamen'. What do you think?
    3. Page load. In your experience, what is the effect of the Oxygen on a page load speed? Based on your demo, it seems snappy however your insights would be great. Thanks for the time taken to review. It's great.

      Uldis Zalcmanis I have been building websites with Beaver Builder, Themer, and Astra for quite some time. To expand the functionality I also use Ultimate Addons for BB and Advanced Custom Fields. I just built my first website with Oxygen builder over the last couple weeks and have been pleasantly surprised by it's power and stability. I had almost no bugs while building and the page speed seems every bit as quick and light as Astra. I have used more advanced theme/page builders in the past like Themler, so the learning curve wasn't too steep. It does take me longer to build a site with Oxygen Builder as it is ultimately a theme builder and not just a page builder, but once you get the hang of it the power and flexibility it gives you is incredible compared to the likes of Beaver Builder. It would definitely take more time to teach a client how to create pages with Oxygen, but would be doable. I believe that you could also install Beaver Builder on top of Oxygen, to allow clients to create pages more easily. I am planning to use both methods to create sites in the future depending on how customizable the theme needs to be. I think both have their place, but it's hard to turn down the $99 lifetime updates and support that they currently are offering.

    It's possible that we can use this Oxygen Builder, multiple time once we buy premium version then we can use multiple time to design different websites? I am a freelancer I don't want to buy that builder again and again.

    This tool does not work even in their demo site . Got the 99$ version and installed it into turnkey linux wordpres, not good at all. No error handling either - this is the worst feature. In my case the system is running under vmware and all other guest are in production and operating normally. Go into demo site, activate atomic, then activate Hyperion and the system stops working. There are many other problems, like editing not working like described in this video. This video seems to be edited one. At least 2.1.2 is full of bugs. Hope I find workable installation soon.

    Sorry to tell but I posted my problem below at GitHub and has been deleted by the owner of Oxygen without any extra question or 'sorry to hear'. For me time to stop with Oxygen Builder and continuing with faster solutions as Enfold, Divi and Elementor Pro.
    -------------------
    I have a problem with Oxygen loading times. When I click on [Edit with Oxygen] I usually have to wait 8 seconds. This on a subdomain of a reasonably fast hosting.
    But with Oxygen and the "Oxygen Elements for WooCommerce" plugin activated, the time increase from 8 sec to 20 seconds! Even for an almost empty About page with only one teaxarea, it takes +/- 20 seconds.
    To give an indication of the hosting:
    In another subdomain on the same server, I have Divi with up to 7 seconds loading time for pages with even more content.
    With Enfold also in a subdomain my waiting takes no more than 2 seconds.
