Finally! Looking forward to oxygen tutorials from you, especially more advanced WooCommerce ones. Oxygen’s woo integration is very basic if you want to customise and control elements. Oxygen is far superior to other builders if you understand the basics of web development so glad you’re taking another look.
I worked long time with elementor thinking it's the best. Then I discovered oxygen and now there is now way anymore working with elementor. The flexibility (and the price !) ist just unbeatable !
They sell now add-on as separately with yearly subscribe "No Life Time", that mean all important and nice Elements will sell through Add-On with yearly Subscribe
Lifetime deals don’t create sustainable business models. The company just made ANOTHER pagebuilder so they can actually make money… You get what you pay for, sorry.
Hi Paul, Was a die-hard Elementor/Crocoblock user. Took up Oxygen and have never looked back at Elementor stack. Fast websites with minimal bloat, no theme issues, great Woo integration, global styling, plethora of style kits, granular control on elements, great ACF compatibility, complete dynamic feature set - It matters all for a meaningful agency like ours. Yes - initial learning curve is more, especially if one is spoilt with the other builder's approach. It changes here beyond a certain point.
Hi, Paul! Yes, please do more Oxygen Builder-related videos. Would be great to cover some of the available plugins/extensions for Oxygen as well as a basic and an advanced Woocommerce build with Oxygen. As always, great vid! P.S. I'm moving away from Elementor in favor of Oxygen. Started using Oxygen about this time last year and I'm loving it.
You and a lot of people I think. There are more tutorials planned and while I'll obviously cover basics, there will be a healthy amount of dynamic based content too. In fact, I just uploaded the first one on using ACF with Oxygen.
@@WPTuts Just got the notification about your Oxy/ACF vid. Looking forward to watching it. Don’t get me wrong, I like many aspects/features/functions in Elementor, but I’m just kinda done with the bloat/excessive scripts and not having the level of control I want where divs are concerned. Oxygen seems to be the perfect bridge between a theme builder/page builder and coding everything from scratch. Well, that’s my view of it at least. Thanks for all you do!
Oxy is not for beginner, it's for someone who have the basic knowledge about css/html/php, which make this page builder stand out! Especially when you find a way to combine with tailwindcss, you will definitely discover a totally new world. Building Site in the Heaven.
I love Oxygen, after trying so many clients and my own websites, I won't back to another builder. There are still things that need to improve but love it so far!

Well done...my opinion, I agree, it could some UI improvements, that said, functionality that’s inherent without plugins, and the speed, and very little dependence on the theme could prove to be a top contender !
Would love to see more on oxygen! I love it and even though I’m not a developer I find it very easy to build sites. I won’t go back to any other page builder I really do think oxygen is the way forward.
I'm coming from Elementor and I loved Elementor but after working with Oxygen for a few weeks it makes Elementor seem so convoluted. You have to go in 3-4 levels deep in Elementor just to get to certain things. You dont need to know css or html to use and make great websites with Oxygen. I dont know css or html at all. So coming from someone with very little experience I think Oxygen was easy to learn. I dont understand people who are saying theres a bit of a learning curve? Also, I'm not sure what is meant by the statement that the IU looks unprofessional. It was very inuitive and easy to understand for me. The way Oxygen is layed out and how you get to things just made sense to me. Keep in mind though that I'm not a web guy who was used to seeing and working with other interfaces that were done differently and now Oxygen is all wrong according to what I'm use to. So far I Love Oxygen.
Would really love more of your videos on Oxygen, and you should now update this for the 3.7 release, with so many great new features! Yes Oxygen is not for beginners, but then if you want a great pricing and licensing scheme, clean code, no extra div's and no Elementor bloat or other changing and expensive pricing schemes (and a cloud based version with hosting?) then take a little time to learn Oxygen. There are great examples and code snippets of how to make almost anything with Oxygen on the internet, and if you dont already know some html, css/php then its time to learn a bit.
Great video tut Paul. While I was on the Elementor bandwagon for a moment, I am going to be digging into Oxygen a bit more. Still using Divi for simple site's, however, for my more complex builds I want to deploy this quickly. There's a lot of flexibility available for those willing to roll up their sleeves in the way of adding various code languages. I agree, bring the interface up-to-speed with the other's and Oxygen would almost be untouchable. I do like the way that you can take certain elements and convert them to GB blocks to make editing easier for clients without having to get into the builder!
Would love to see better 3d party support for oxygen. Something like theplusaddons or crocblock and jetengine. Would ditch elementor in a heartbeat if it was easy to build dynamic sites with some more different elements to use. Love the way you are able to set up your own "design repository" to use on different sites.
Agree that the UI seems a little clunky, but do like a few things like the Gutenberg cross over features, and the conditional logic functionality. My Elementor expert licence is due for renewal soon, but because I have invested in other related plug ins such as Crocoblocks ect. I may have to stick with Elementor for a while, but nice to see alternatives. Would be nice to see more on Oxygen though Paul... Thanks 😊
Great vid Paul. I love Oxygen but commented on this elsewhere: It's not a really the kind of CMS/builder you can hand over to clients, not the kind B2B clients we have at least, surely? Whereas Elementor, with all its bloating/speed degradations, is very client-friendly, so where page speed is less important Elementor has a big advantage client-side. I would have thought. Most comments on here seem to come from designers and developers (like myself) who love developing but we all build sites for clients who need to take over - don't we? Would love to hear from you Paul and from any other developers as to how they hand Oxygen sites over to clients (although clients with their own tech teams, I guess, might also prefer Oxygen over Elementor). Likewise, would be great to hear how any non-tech clients are getting on with it. The Oxygen pricing scenario (current and downstream) is also hands-on, slam-dunk better than Elementor's - although I do really like what Elementor (aside from the bloat/page speeds) are trying to do, Crocoblock, included.
Yeah my main concern when choosing platform always how my clients will handle it for themselves? Easy to learn ? Or they should willing to spend their FREE time to learn it ? How Ibecome problem solver if my decision only making them confuse about their Online Marketing tool ?
Personally I would charge them for editing their sites instead of giving them easy to edit site that is bloated and people won't find it with Google so easy. But that's me. I just like better results no matter how hard they are to achieve. :D
Great Video Paul 👌 However, Client Control already has a limited access feature but you need to remove and add the license again to see the "Edit Only" option under the client control section. Cheers! Wasim
The most important thing about oxygen is the relations it has with advanced plugins like ACF(Pro) and other plugins that have been formerly designed for Elementor. Elementor has a ton of dedicated plugins and Woocommerce integration. At the moment if you search on Wordpress repository you may find 3 plugins under "Oxygen" keyword. I bought this sitebuilder as a lifetime license for $99 and I await to see it growing up with functionalities and new dedicate plugins to switch some of the most advanced websites to this platform. In the meantime I continue to use Elementor thanks to its RAD speed although it is heavily bloated. In my opinion if they work hard to switch on/of the native widgets it will become rapidly again the n° 1 among site builders.
oxygen's biggest problem is its not client friendly if they want to edit the content for themselves. Without locking them out of everything and using a page builder with it or say gutenburg. So they can edit the content with ease. Time taken to build the site is the other big issue vs clients budget. I love the idea of it though and use it for my own sites just to keep in the loop an have options for clients
I think that, at this point, everyone should stick to the builder they're most comfortable with and, over the course of this year, shift focus towards native Gutenberg full site editing and plugins extending it's capabilities.
i'm elementor user for long time but i saw cool website using oxy, that's why i'm interested to learn it more and interestingly oxygen is not a page builder is more template builder, will watching this video till end
I'm a hand coder from waaaay back--I love the ability to quickly add typical html elements, but am really confused as to how to access the css style sheets--3 locations to do custom css? (code blocks, custom css/php/html, and manage settings/stylesheets) Please clarify which to use and when--do they write to different sheets in the site structure? This is driving me nuts, 'cuz I have stuff on a site I'm redoing for a client, and I can't do the design from the options available directly in oxy...Thanks! Love the videos!!!!
I feel like a lot of these builders could become their own content management system, the only benefit of sticking with Wordpress is access to all the other plugins.
I totally agree with everything you said and everything you said is a huge factor in using this plugin as well as a huge learning curve which is what you need. I do like some of the features that Elementor should implement and I wish they would do. It would definitely make Elementor great. If it would implement and get the UI together it would be a great tool to rival Elementor for sure.
I have dabbled with it over the years and overall it is a solid builder. But I just couldn't jump in and get creating like I can in Elementor, it's hard to describe but the design process just doesn't "flow" as easy as it does using Elementor. I think though it definitely has positional and with some big UI improvements and maybe a better overall workflow it will be one to watch out for.
I felt the same, but testing things out for the last 2 days I have come to appreciate the workflow a lot more. The UI still isn't to my liking, but ignoring that factor, it is better than I remember and feels more intuitive than it did originally when I tested it a couple of years back.
Great the video, Your video is exhaustive and complete. Competition will be tough for Oxy with players like wi.x or mo .bi/ rise rising and innovating constantly. I think Oxy should be more niche and focused on blog or ecommerce options. be terrific in 1 area is better for competition.
Nice review. Of course, there's much more, and I think Paul from the standpoint of the UI, its more of most of us just being more familiar with the workflow of Elementor. Once this is learned, it is pretty good, and gives a LOT of control of what you want to do. A update that is currently in Alpha is the ability to do VERY advanced blog layouts with CSS Grid and and repeaters. Something that is built into the platform which is a VERY welcome change in having to use various plugins with Elementor. ruclips.net/video/ZdT1kS8MR5s/видео.html I'm sure there's still plenty of use cases for Elementor over Oxygen, but I really see the gap starting to close based on what has come out in the last year or so.
Great video great insight into the oxygen builder. Not for me though I am following everything you do with elementor pro and crocoblock. Please can you do some more complex dynamic sites using these fantastic tools. Love your stuff. Many thanks.
It's 2024. I use Oxygen and Divi. I'm currently building a site with Elementor, and I'm finding it a few steps back in functionality. (Also, I honestly don't think I like it's UI, but that's less of an issue for me tha what the builder does and how well it performs.)
What is it like for learning management system sites? I use divi but haven’t used LMS with it and my next client will likely need one, happy to get to grips with oxygen. I loved Webflow’s interface, if they could integrate that into a Wordpress builder that would be awesome!
Thank you for a great and insightful video. I do have a question - Elementor Pro allows you to create custom widgets, including custom controls for them. Does Oxygen have anything similar?
About a year ago I had someone show me Oxygen and I hated it. I mean I HATED IT. To me it was clunky, not intuitive at all, and just took away from any inspiration for building websites. I was thrilled with Thrive Architect and very happy with Elementor. But after watching this video, and seeing some other tutorials, I am going to give Oxygen another chance. Like I mentioned, I am thrilled with Thrive Architect but willing to see if there is something better out there. I now see that Oxygen has some serious potential, but the intuitive part of it just seems to be lacking. It will have to be VERY good to beat out Thrive Architect, but I will give it a good fair test.
Instant buyer's remorse. As much as I dislike Elementor's div bloat, Oxygen is clunky to use and the feature set is undercooked. Bang Oxygen back in the oven for a couple more years and I might take a second look. For now, I'm sticking with Elementor.
Hmmmm before continuing on w your vid I clicked on their site link and their isn’t a single dynamic or engaging element (at least on my iPhone view here, and mobile style has been #1 for me for years) so that’s def a pass on looking any further into. Always appreciate yours vids, insight and reviews Paul 100 🙌🏻⚡️👍🏻💯
Honestly, don't write it off too quickly. Consider it a platform for your creativity that gives you a lot of freedom. You may find it more useful than you think. :)
Obviously an avid Oxygen user here. Paul, can you do an advanced walk-through showing off CSS Grid, composite elements library and the granular control of user roles? IMO it was a balanced look.

I’m a pretty experienced web guy, used tonnes of different applications and frameworks as well as build from scratch. I’d been using Divi for a while and aside from some annoyances in the header/menu area, I’ve been quite happy with it. I pulled the trigger on Oxygen about a week ago and in all honesty it’s driving me nuts. The UI is a mess and, to me, downright unpleasant to use. It context switches .. but often, after changing one thing it dumps you back at the beginning meaning extra clicks to make next change. The forum is on bloody Facebook! And wasn’t very helpful. I’m afraid it’s a thumbs down for Oxygen from me.
thank you for your advice, I am about to create a website with Wordpress and it drives me crazy to choose the good Page Builder. Elementor seems to be the big one but I wonder if they would not just put a lot of money in publicity. I saw lot of people complaining about it on their Facebook ads. Divi seems to bring lot of frustration with problems. I like simple thing and minimalist style, but on the other hand I am in love with FULL customisation and personalization (but without coding or a very little bit), I really don't want to be obligated to not can do what I want, and I'd enjoy to be like a mad scientist. I'll be glad to know your advice about the Page Builder that would be perfect for me
I think backend UI doesn't matter. In the end, a web builder should prioritize end users' business, not developers or designers. And Oxygen has been doing it well. It targets the right audience and focuses on the right things.
Oxygen is not for everyone who used to work with Elementor types of consumer builder. It only uses basic wordpress structure nor theme system. It actually disabled theme feature. oxygen website cannot be compared with other builders. it cannot compete with others because it is different kind of 'builder' something like webflow. Once you get used to it - there are some learning curve - you cannot work with other builders nor webflow. it is that good and fast. Use WS form with oxygen builder. It feels like web application when you use these two combo
I find it really hard to use Elementor again. With Oxy Ultimate plugin, hydrogen, it's to much smoother and more manageable and the dynamic stuff that you enjoy so much is easier with just ACF
Brizy : Best For Designer & Client, UI friendly, Lifetime Package content All futures with White label Support and Owner very Friendly and Professional, Oxygen : Best For Developer, UI not Friendly, Lifetime Package content basic and some of futures you need to pay yearly 30$ to get the Add-on (more widget), Support and Owner not respect the clients,
The Oxygen builder UI looks like ass. Makes detail-oriented designers like myself not trust it. The font they chose for the builder UI, with crappy drop shadow, should be replaced with something clean and modern. That simple tweak would make it feel much better.
not is not better solution, global setting for example headline setting is only for PC version (i must set manul any headline in page for tablet and mobile) in elementor i set this in 2 click, oxigen is good optimization and good price, but... is not good solution for 09.01.2021, after maybe will be best, i buy licences and wait better time for this builder, now Elementor the best!
@@Atractiondj That is like saying "if wordpress leaves its blog platform focus and compability with older versions, then it will be best CMS". Not happening even after many many years

@@WPTuts Oxygen solely invests money in their product development, while Elementor pays a lot of money for affiliates, which after all reflects in the price. But I am looking forward to some Oxygen tutorials!
@@More_MOTZ not really a true comparison though. Yes, Elementor pays affiliate's for sales they make. But, there is a massive difference between the 15 million users Elementor has (free and Pro) compared to the 30,000 Oxygen has and that's not solely down to affiliate sales. Don't forget that they made what is a pretty poor decision to continue with a lifetime license model which has seriously hampered their ability to grow as a company with such a small user base and no residual income. Plus, as we can plainly see, the developers of Oxygen have also been spending a large portion of that money on developing Breakdance at the expense of their Oxygen users. While Oxygen has its benefits, I don't think customer loyalty is high up on that list.
I know, it's so gimmicky, then you always have these people acting like it's so amazing and it changed their life. I'm not sure but I don't think too many companies have excelled with the one time buy model, but I mean, it is technology so things probably won't ever change again. I can definitely see where somebody would expect to buy a product right now that would support them for the rest of their life at no additional cost.
That may be the case of you're an Elementor user. If you're not, you likely won't care as much. As for a comparison video, that will possibly happen in the near future.

Sorry to break it to you, but oxygen's source is anything but clean - sadly, it's a spaghetti bolognaise in there.
I want to see lots of tutorials on Oxygen
Love Oxygen.
Please do more on it and thanks for this.
Just added a new video to the channel on Oxygen. Check it out :)
@@WPTuts Thank you!

The interface is pretty imo, feels good
I agree.. its more about the usability
Great to hear you like it and find it appealing. For me, not so much so. 😉
I would love some more stuff on Oxygen!
There's more coming. In fact, I just uploaded a new one on using Oxygen with ACF and dynamic data. :0)
What is it like for learning management system sites? I use divi but haven’t used LMS with it and my next client will likely need one, happy to get to grips with oxygen. I loved Webflow’s interface, if they could integrate that into a Wordpress builder that would be awesome!
Hi! Tx for this video!
Question : Any coupon available to buy it?
I don't believe so at this time.
Oxygen Builder for the win!
No
Thank you for a great and insightful video.
I do have a question - Elementor Pro allows you to create custom widgets, including custom controls for them. Does Oxygen have anything similar?
i kinda stopped watching your vids after moving to oxygen so good to be able to watch again.
Welcome back :0)
About a year ago I had someone show me Oxygen and I hated it.
What is your opinion now?
In Client Mode there is also the Edit Only option, strange that didn’t show up in your video.
the 'Edit Only' mode only works if you have the Agency package
Instant buyer's remorse. As much as I dislike Elementor's div bloat, Oxygen is clunky to use and the feature set is undercooked. Bang Oxygen back in the oven for a couple more years and I might take a second look. For now, I'm sticking with Elementor.
Are you familiar with some code?
A great intro to oxygen
Oxygen + woocommerce please. Never looking back with elementor unless needed.
A million times better and i love using it.
Speed-focused? - Oxygen
Capabilities-driven? - Elementor
Better UI? - Elementor
Almost no code bloat? - Oxygen.
A fair comparison :0)
What of the UI would you modernize? I like the simplicity of it.
i think the ui is perfect as is
Can you set custom break points? I saw the option in the menu. This is something elementor doesn't have and really needs.
You can customize the breakpoints, but you can't add more unless you use custom css
Hi small question, do I have to use oxygen on the entire site or it can be limited so some pages?
I believe you can choose to use it only for page design. 👍
Users role control for more specific things is coming in the next Update ❤️
Nice :)
webflow vs oxygen? Which is better?
I'll be glad to know your advice about the Page Builder that would be perfect for me
Are you still planning more Oxygen tutorials???
No affiliate program = NOPE
Oxygen doesn't even use a theme so no motivation for affiliate marketers to promote it
It’s superior. Specially if you have a dev background.
A dev background certainly helps once you go beyond the basics. :0)
thanks for beginners for me
page load test with this builder
Stratos does a lot of that - ruclips.net/channel/UCr-o6Wusaqh3tkVFAtyZKAA
Oxegen VS Divi?. Regardless of cost.
which is the best theme to pair with oxygenbuilder?
Oxygen doesn’t require a theme. It basically overrides the WP theme.
@@WPTuts thx a lot! ❤
Can it be used without wordpress? like Brizy cloud?
No, this is a WordPress only plugin I'm afraid.

Lets do Oxygennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
I find it really hard to use Elementor again. With Oxy Ultimate plugin, hydrogen, it's to much smoother and more manageable and the dynamic stuff that you enjoy so much is easier with just ACF
i really like the hydrogen and oxy ultimate functionality.
thanks
Much prefer oxygen over Elementor..as for interface, simple is always better
I don't mind the simple thing, I just feel it could do with a more slick look. It's just a little dated IMHO.
any new review of oxygen?
Oxygen best 👍
Im ditching Brizy for Oxygen...
Brizy : Best For Designer & Client, UI friendly, Lifetime Package content All futures with White label Support and Owner very Friendly and Professional,
Oxygen : Best For Developer, UI not Friendly, Lifetime Package content basic and some of futures you need to pay yearly 30$ to get the Add-on (more widget), Support and Owner not respect the clients,
Since then. So many crazy Oxygen 3rd party add on came to the market @@
The Oxygen builder UI looks like ass. Makes detail-oriented designers like myself not trust it. The font they chose for the builder UI, with crappy drop shadow, should be replaced with something clean and modern. That simple tweak would make it feel much better.
I can't say that I disagree. 😉
I use elementor becouse there is lot of addon support.
not is not better solution, global setting for example headline setting is only for PC version (i must set manul any headline in page for tablet and mobile) in elementor i set this in 2 click, oxigen is good optimization and good price, but... is not good solution for 09.01.2021, after maybe will be best, i buy licences and wait better time for this builder, now Elementor the best!
if Elementor optimize builder code and fix small bug will be best any way
@@Atractiondj That is like saying "if wordpress leaves its blog platform focus and compability with older versions, then it will be best CMS". Not happening even after many many years
@@iAloudat yeah I know, and?
you also have to pay $30 yearly just to get elements to use? weird.
could it be any more out of focus?
You may want to check your settings first!
@@WPTuts the only time I have a problem and something is that blurry it's using my camera when it's out of focus.
I can see everything else on the internet.. just sayin'
@@janeythompson1834 it's screen captured at 2k and any live camera pieces are shot in 4k and look perfect on all the devices I've tested on and no one else has found an issue. That would point to it being an issue on your side of things. 🤔

Short answer: Oxygen does not pay as sweet affiliate money as Elementor :D
What does that have to do with whether the software is good or not? 🤷🏼♂️
While Oxygen has its benefits, I don't think customer loyalty is high up on that list.
what theme is recommended to be used with Oxygen?
Oxygen completely takes over from any theme you have installed so it doesn't matter at all. To me, this is refreshing.
Every time I turn around they have another builder. Wordpress is like an android phone.
Just bought it… definitely getting a refund.
Would you mind sharing why? I'm thinking of giving it a try.
Elementor is way way way better
haha
99USD / YEAR VS LIFE TIME
Only if you are not too smart or a complete noob
thats why you get with elementor so good page speed ratings with lighthouse? :D
not in every case
i think you missed the point of a video like this.
What makes Oxygen different from elementor. that's what people are itnerested in.
That may be the case of you're an Elementor user. If you're not, you likely won't care as much.
As for a comparison video, that will possibly happen in the near future.
That's not what I am interested in. Thanks for speaking for everyone though.
