- The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has officially shifted its involvement in the CRAIC CR929 program from being a joint-venture partner to assuming the role of a key supplier.
The declaration came during an interview with Yury Slyusar, the Chief Executive Officer of UAC whilst at the global military-technical event "Army-2023,"

Now it will be called the C929.
Rolls off the tounge better.
The PRC would probably have it be 99.9% made in the PRC anyway...
They pulled out of the fake dreamliner project... im shocked lmao
I think it's not because of the sanctions, but it could be because of they are focusing in their own next generation IL96 with dual engine instead.
Can't wait for the future of long range aviation to drop straight out of the 1970s
lmao no, russia has no more money.
@@jasperhunter8386 Nah is that what they are telling you in the west?
@@Jose-og909 its obvious, I went there 4/5 years ago, and out of 53 countries that I've been to (including Kazakhstan, North Korea and Bolivia), Russia looked like the worst faring out of any of them
Due to Ukraine War related sanctions, Russia completely loss the European trade . China step in , and basically replaced Russia's loss business with Europe.
787 Dreamliner Dupe
The Chinese hoped to get the PD 35 engine technology, but they are not fools in Russia.
If you don't want to do that, then keep it for yourself
There any way that this bootleg 787/A350 will work?
idk probably Rolls-Royce or Safran would help them to develop the engines
This is exactly 4mins pretty nice👌
I forgot it even existed
Russians are always late to the party but they always attend
But I thought the sanctions weren’t having any effect.
😂
Watch out; russian bots are coming with their "arguments" in 3, 2, 1,....
"Sanctions only hurt the west and make Russia grow stronker" - Vladimir Vladimirovich Pooter. Must TOTALLY be so if the dear leader personally said it.
Wow, that looked very very sharp. Oh oh Airbus and Boeing!! I hope the sharp aircraft can progress on. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
The next 787..
It was inevitable given the sanctions :/ hopefully it isn’t the end of the 929 project
Bad situation that Klaus Schwab has the opportunity to influence the free world.
That's what you get!
Good news
Given current events, they should probably dual-source components like engines and avionics so they can supply the aircraft either side of sanctions.
Given recent events and unprecedented economic aggression on Russia, they were proven 100% right and China is thinking really hard now how to dump all US and EU parts...
Trouble in paradise it seems. But but but BRICS 😢 😂
Chinese kicked out Russia for business reason 😅
The engines. Are they western ? or home grown?
Any currently available modern engines would have to be RR or GE for widebody. China is trying to develop its own engines but that is least decade or two off.
@@johniii8147 That kind of screws their so-called self sufficiency, for now.
@@CubicSpline7713 China is nowhere close to self sufficiency in Aviation and they know it. All of COMAC aircraft rely very heavily on Western suppliers. Engines, avionics, design etc.
I'm pretty sure if the CR929 manufacturer tried looking for jet engines in the vast fake markets in China, they could find counterfeit RR and GE engines!
@@johniii8147give them another decade or two
oh no situation
Unrelated question. Does Aeroflot fly previously leased aircraft that were appropriated by Russia, on their flights to Turkey? If so, why aren't the aircraft confiscated in Turkey? I don't know if these are facts, I'm curious to know.
No. They only fly them internally.
Russia only uses aircraft they own outright on international flights, the leased aircraft that they stole only fly domestic
The backstory was that Russia pulled out because due to the sanctions, there wasn't enough wood imported from northern Europe to run the jet engines of the CR929.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Haha
Russia has plenty of wood.
Russian woods are 2-3 times bigger than whole EU territory
This is not true, it's still on going
there were no engines for this. Russia does not have the capital to do it all. Better to focus on the MC21. It was always going to play out this way.

Just like BYD... Comac will soon dominate the skies... It just matter of time. 😅😅😅😅
How many C919s in operation?
2
I think they have average of 2 flight hours per week 😂
To copy any AIB or BOE WB A/C CN don’t really needs RU.
Engines. Chinese built engines aren’t reliable.
use less acronyms please, the character limit is high
@@_monti142 sorry: To copy any Airbus or Boeing wide body aircraft China does not needs Russia.
Craic in Irish is pronounced crack and it means fun.
Well, Russian widebody aircraft, not happening.
Russia 🤣🤣🤣
L Russia
Russia is not producing the long haul planes anymore.
ИЛ 96-400 над тобой посмеялся.
They are testing IL96 400M with brand new engine. It's kinda like the IL96 "neo" for them.
@@hoangnguyenminh9594 The Boeing 737 aircraft has been manufactured by Boeing Corporation since 1967 😁
There is still hope for twin engine IL 96 😍
Without ETOPS certification it would be DOA.
@@CheapBastard1988 Thankfully ICAO is neutral and shown war criminals from USA trying to abuse it middle finger in the past, so hopefully certification will be quick and easy...
I hope Comac would still produced this aircraft without Russian partnership
This is the end Comac.
Russia did the right thing.
Russia should develop their own wide body , Russia should be weary of the CCP . In my opinion the CCP should not be trusted.
il 96 400m
Pfffffffffft 787-8/9/10 dreamliner bootleg😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That's a shame, i hope the project goes ahead
It's been in trouble for years long before the sanctions.
Russia will be independent with PD 35 , while China under the west Blackmail.
C929 will fail in external market .

First to be here 😂
First to be sent to the gulag.
No one cares 😂 😑
Funny 😁 dudes out here 🤣
That’s a shame. The Chinese would have benefited greatly from Russia’s experience in commercial aircraft R n D.
