To clarify: in the video when I'm talking about Limit Break bar not filling up, I know they fixed the "glitch" few months ago, so now when we don't land the hit it won't charge our LB bar anymore. In this event, and only in Battle Ranking event, we can hit the boss before he does his charged attack, and our LB bar will not get filled as it normally would be. It's even in the video - at 9:19 Cloud managed to hit but the LB charge was deleted, despite the hit landing on the boss before Reno did his animated attack (Matt's action did count but Cloud's didn't). Then at 9:44 despite Cloud hitting the boss and his attack animation finishing before Reno's attack, you can see the LB charge disappearing again (both Cloud's and Matt's LB charge didn't count despite landing the attacks). That's not just Cloud. It happens for every character in every battle but only in the Battle Ranking event. Never happened and never happens in any other battle.
This is beyond helpful! These newer ranking events have been super confusing to me. This clarified a lot of how it works. Not only that, It was really helpful with building a team and how to proceed.
I really love the abilities Aerith has in this game, and I have to admit, Sephiroth as a teenager is quite cute! ❤ Though, I do wonder when the chapters for Before Crisis will be released? I've been wanting to play that game for years!
Agree. Also Aerith will get even better in the future as she'll still be getting even more banners that will expand her arsenal. And definitely agree, young Sephiroth is very adorable and wholesome. We don't know when a new storyline will get introduced. I'm guessing they'll introduce a new storyline after either FF7 or CC will conclude. Then it would make most sense to give us Before Crisis next, followed by Advent Children and lastly Dirge. And same, I'm very interested in Before Crisis because we were never able to play it ourselves. At first I thought Before Crisis will be introduced when First Soldier ends but now we know First Soldier will be continued in Episode 2 in the future (or even more episodes). I'm only guessing here what may happen because devs didn't say anything about when they'll release any of those storylines but having 3 storylines at the same time makes most sense because we get 1 chapter per month, so with 3 stories, we get a chapter every 3 months. If they were to introduce more storylines, we would end up with 1 chapter every 6 months which wouldn't be nice.
I got my highest score so far doing the Airbuster, but I am going to try Reno. My current team is close to beating my high score of about 775k, but I'm slowly getting pushed out of the top 100 spot. I was at 31 2 days ago, now I'm at 80. I really want to stay in the top 100! Last event I just barely got pushed out and ended up at rank 101.
@@End7essness I did! I actually found a different set-up for the battle effects and jumped my score up by about 50k points, for a total of about 835k. Ended up at rank 39!
Yes. They removed that few months ago and since that change unless we manage to hit the boss, it won't fill our bar. But in this Battle Ranking event we can hit the boss and our bar will not get filled, so that means we will need more actions and consume more ATB to get the lb/summon ready than we'd normally need.

What I meant in this Battle Ranking event is that we can still manage to land a hit on the boss but then our bar will not get filled. So we need longer to fill our lb bars because those lb bar chunks we would normally get, are being lost instead, even multiple times in a single battle if unlucky. This never happened before in any battle. I started noticing it in this event and it does indeed happen quite frequently, only in Battle Ranking.

We get a new group every new ranking. My is 11 too.
The server is global, so we all should be together. Only Japanese region is separate. If you see player with a name OnlySeph that's me.
