- Hello!! This is part 3 and the final installment of my wine fridge saga. My new wine fridge is here and we get to unbox it together!!! I got the Wine Enthusiast VinoView 36 Bottle Compressor Wine Fridge from Costco. Check out Part 1 and Part 2 where we go over wine storage and tips on how to buy a wine fridge.
Today, we also have a special guest appearance from Tyler my boyfriend who is going to help me set my new wine fridge up. Come follow us as we find a new home for my wine fridge and my wine bottles. I'll also do a review of the wine fridge and give you my final thoughts.

Something that will help your unit will to make sure it is full. The extra mass inside the unit will help it to maintain temp with less cycling on and off.

Thanks!! Yeah I can see how some ppl would get annoyed but I usually forget that it's there. Maybe some day I'll invest in a nice Eurocave wine cabinet 😬
You mentioned you started out at 70F and went down to 48F in 20 minutes after plugging it in and turning it on? Is that how long most wine cellars take to chill wine?
I would imagine it depends on the size of your wine cellar. But while shopping around I saw a few that it took less than half an hour to get cool.
Next step might be getting a coravin adapter so you can use it with a full size argon tank.
Coravins are amazing. Yes maybe that's my next splurge haha
@@TheSommNextDoor I think you have one. If not they're often a quarter price secondhand as people give up. The adapter bypasses the truly expensive part the little tanks.
How are you liking this fridge now? Still recommend? Concerned about the way the wines are sideways and having to move them around
The racks are a little tight so I do have to take out bottles to reach the ones in the back but that hasn't bothered me too much. What is a little annoying is that every once in a while there will be a loud dull cracking noise and then it will go quiet. So I would put it in a less prominent part of your house if you do get it
It's been 5 months since your video. I'm considering a large 100+ bottle Wine Enthusiast fridge. What are your thoughts on the brand build quality?
Hi Chris! So far I've really like my fridge. Like I commented in the video there is a slight noise when the compressor kicks on but usually it is very quiet/minimal vibrations and it has kept my wines within 5 degrees of what I set it at (50F).
how does it work dont reds and whites need to be kept at different temps?
For aging purposes, you can keep both reds and whites around 50 degrees. For drinking purposes you can either pop you white wine in the fridge for a few minutes or take out your red wine a few minutes early.
