I can’t help to notice how sick your room looks, the helmets that are displayed on the top and then all kinds of weapons going down. And the wall looks like it has come straight out of the movies, I’m stunned

Galaxy’s Edge lightsabers have really stepped up. My recommendation would be Galaxy’s Edge if people want to be physical with the blade. Force FX is cool for display.
Also for cosplay as well. 2 Lightsabers for $200, you can't beat that.

Damn, Jorge another stellar video! I was really wondering where you were going to fall with this one as both lightsabers had their strengths and weaknesses. This one was really tough for me as the video went on. The whole time I was thinking, "If only we could force meld these two together into the perfect lightsaber!" For the most part I was digging the Black Series more. I like that it's thinner and that light effect is dope! However the sound on the Galaxy's Edge is just too hard to pass up. And the fact that you can change the blade color AND the sound changes with it... man that was the cherry on top for me. So yeah, Galaxy's Edge all the way.
Hell yea man. If they could blend aspects of the two and include two lightsabers, I think we would have a perfect set for both display and cosplay. But Galaxy's Edge has the "Edge" on this one lol.

Yea if they at least included both sabers, Hasbro could have taken the lead with this one. But the Galaxy's Edge is the better buy in my opinion.

Awesome side by side review of these hilts. IF .. the black series had done both shoto and shein hilt. Would have been a tough choice between the 2. Have to agree with you Galaxy's Edge hilts offer more! Thank you for doing a comparison video!

And this is a super cool review of the two lightsabers, I'm waiting for my ahsoka black series lightsaber cause I was looking for a cheap but very cool and this was my choise! The galaxys edge are awesome! But I dont have the oportunity or the money to have that, but I'm very happy with the option of the black series!!! Saludos!🙌

Cool room set up. I got the Galaxy's Edge Ahsoka hilts and absolutely love them. I've been collecting the Black Series FX sabers, too, but won't be getting the Ahsoka one, because I don't like the sound and I don't like the price. Even having to buy the Galaxy's Edge Ahsoka sabers on eBay, you're getting both for $100 more, whereas, you're looking at $500 for both if Hasbro ever makes the smaller hilt.
Does anyone know if Ahsoka’s tcw legacy lightsabers are still available in Florida’s Disney Springs? I’d love to get my hands some, but people keep saying that they’re out in certain stores…

I vote legacy and im glad i stuck with them.
Plus there is a guy out there in the GE community who makes neopixle custom blades for GE hilts. And i just bought some form him for my ahsoka tano GE sabers and they look SOOOO much more realistic and smooth.
I encourage anyone out there to go for GE if your looking to get more features and opportunities for your money.

What's the difference between force x and black series?
do you think the luke skywalker legacy saber will be discontinue at galaxy edge i know the anikin was retired last week do you think in september galaxy edge will still have any luke skywalker sabers?
I don't think that one will get discontinued until they release something similar. Like they retired Maul because Cal Kestis's saber will release soon. But with Luke's saber in the Mandalorian series, its not likely it will be retired just yet.

Hey Ryder if you want to stay in the $300 range, I would pick and choose from Galaxy's Edge and Black Series Force FX Elite. If you can save up for the $500 - $600 range, then go Saber Forge. The others are a lot more money and have a lot higher quality. I use Hasbro and Disney to build up the bulk of my display and buy a few Saber Forge for my special hilts.

Why is there only one hilt in Ashoka in the Black Series? Will the short hilt be released separately?
I don't think they plan to. And that is a good question. I would have paid more if they included both.
Looking into collecting blasters. Where did you get yours?
I built the DL-44 from parts and the EE3 is a 3d print. I don’t recommend that guy. It’s pricey and the quality is bad. I’m working on getting parts from blaster factory to make one
SaberForge and a couple others have blasters. They're a bit pricey but cosplay is never cheap.
Did you find a way to clean the scuff mark off the acrylic?
Nope. It caught it pretty good.
I have a question, can you switch the blade from Black Series to Legacy's hilt ?

I just bought them on ebay. Although im in Canada so i cannot go to galaxy edge. Where can in get blades that fit them ?
You can buy the blades from shop.Disney I believe. If not then you also will need to find them on eBay

You’ve already been but for the people looking and also wondering:
The lightsaber is treated like a carryon bag if you have it assembled. Security sees those items all the time and know what it is. They literally told me that and it wasn’t a big deal. The overhead bins were long enough for me to place on the plane, and they came out fine. Naturally, my preference would have been to throw it in my checked bags because I didn’t want to worry about it and had no idea what was going to happen at the time.
If you carry it on the place with you, it counts as 1 carry on bag so make sure you consider that in your planning
Good review....i like the way that lightsaber goes up slow and comes down slow..looks cool ! I am at a stand still what is the better one. I guess price would have to be my decision on this review..because they look almost identical.
don't settle on a product just because it's cheaper... you get what you pay for. Save a little more and buy a better hilt from a custom shop, they're around and 100x better. you will only be dissapointed by Hasbro and Disney. They're good for kids but nowhere near the best options for collectors.
@@montyprovost3587 i am not settling..i just meant that i can't tell really a difference in the 2..so my decision would be on price. Now if there was a big difference between to 2..then i would choose the better one, nkt caring about the price. Thats all i am saying.
I went ahead with the galaxy edge one cause that one already comes with two at around the same price point without the blade and with the blades you’re just paying a bit more.

I love Ahsoka tano, it’s so hard to find Ashoka tano lightsabers you can duel with, can you duel with galaxy’s edge?
No really. They claim you can but it’s more for kids. If adults were to battle with these, I think the blades would shatter
it's tough finding duel-worthy neopixel hilts... the blades are expensive and sensitive. it doesn't take much to crack a strip and be out a blade. there are plenty of sites that offer duel-capable hilts but they won't be neopixel, they'll light up like a flashlight and you won't get that satisfying ignition effect.

Go to Padawan Outpost instead, £50 more than Hasbro but their AT1 blows the Hasbro one away by miles.

Ahsokas second color is not yellow but actually yellow-green, like some type of yellowish green or lime.

Game Stop offers a 2 pc bundle and the store clerk assumed it was a 2 pc light saber in 1 box meaning both of her single lightsabers in 1 box for $400. i was like sweet.
But after closer looking i think they are offering 2 lightsabers for $400 instead of $250 each for $500.
because i can't find anywhere on the net where they are making both of her lightsabers in 1 box.
everything i find is her single saber.
My question was referring to that deal that game stop had but now i think its just 2 separate sabers for $400 ..

That I plan to do. I heard its going to be released in September here in FL. Meanwhile I am still trying to get my hands on the Galaxy's Edge to give you all a comparison. But from what I have seen, I think Black Series takes the win on that one.

The electronics inside of Force FX and galaxy’s edge sabers are super outdated and lack luster. Smooth swing and higher quality blades need to become an industry standard
Yup, it's sad that 3rd party lightsabers can be cheaper while having more features and just as good/better quality hilts
Neither are worth spending money on. Both use extremely outdated tech. Neo pixel with smooth swing or im not buying.

- terrible sound
- inaccurate hilt
- awful ergonomics
- no sound fonts (neither can you add any)
- but the worst thing has got to be the blade. Like, what the h*ll is that? 300$ neopixels light up the whole room and the light from this saber can't even reach your face, even after you killed most of the lights in the room. Really, Hasbro? 🧐
Honestly, don't buy either. Save your money and do it right. If you're already going to Disney, may as well get Galaxy's edge, otherwise, just get a replica from a custom saber shop. These two are just garbage... unreliable and bulkier than the actual hilts.
