I always assumed that sith sabers were uncomfortable to hold so it can piss themselves off and make them stronger as a result lol

The darkside is actually fueled by minor inconveniences they wear big black robes to decrease visibility and make sure they swear more making them constantly annoyed

Nice theory and for the most part I can agree with you, however this is Revan's saber AFTER he was redeemed back to the light side. According to Old Republic canon, after Revan was redeemed, he started using two sabers: His old saber, which turned red. And this new one, which is purple.

Hasbro has really been improving on their products. The new black series figures are looking amazing and the new packaging on the sabers are the same as the figures.

@@MCECentral I think they shod at list made little much nicer then the dark sabers so won't look a like.. This is my opinion.
I've had multiple Force FX sabers and the ROTJ Luke Skywalker is still my favorite. This one though could be a contender. I'm not too familiar with Darth Revan but I know he will be big for next wave of movies. The design is just mean looking. I dig it. Great review man. And that stage backdrop is just freaking killer.

@@Sacha_8976 Yeah maybe because I'm a big Luke mark I overlook it. The green is brilliant and I love the classic design and weight. Definitely better than the original Anakin one I had.

If you press the blade and/or the Kyber Crystal down as you put it into the hilt, you can twist it and lock it into place. you need to press down and turn and then both lock in place.

How to you charge the crystal ? Can someone tell me please, I take it out and since it isnt charged it doesnt stay lit.
I need help, just got this saber, and I’ve noticed that, when left idle without any movement or pressing any button, it will auto-shut down after 45 seconds, is that normal??? I have a Dooku Force FX (but not Elite) and it auto shuts down like after 3-4 minutes… ¿Are Elite hasbro sabers supposed to shutdown after only 45 seconds of being idle or just Revan’s???

is the hilt really thick ? like how does it compare to the darth revan one ? Looks pretty thick in the hands
For the crystal, I think it's just 1 capacitor or a little battery, 2 LEDs, some resistors and maybe 1 or 2 electric relay to switch between the 2 colors... It's simple, but I really love the effect.
Was thinking the same thing . It's such a cool feature for what amount of money(like u said capacitor and relay/switch )

I feel like they retroactively made this Revan's lightsaber. None of the lightsaber models in KOTOR looked anything like this. Revan was a pragmatist. He used simple lightsaber hilts in game that did not have do dads and metal blades sticking out of it that would interfere in the gyroscopic nature of wielding one in battle. His actual hilt was simple, practical and reliable, which no doubt saved his life when wielding it against powerful foes. Though perhaps did not win many points for fashion.
This is his lightsaber in The Old Republic game, the MMO. Your're right this light-saber model was not in KOTOR.
If I remember this is the lightsaber he used before he turned to the dark side and after he turned back to the light he had this one and the other one your talking about
Yeah because it's Fancy and Edgy looking and that's the kind of design that sells, lol, that's it, you can over-explain it using the actual Lore and how this isn't right for the character but Hasbro aren't gonna sell Revan's simplistic Saber when this thing exists.

Just picked this up at my local GameStop yesterday it’s awesome! Had it preordered but wouldn’t ship till next month so cancelled that! So far have this one Kylo Ren Elite FX, A New Hope Luke Skywalker Black Series and Master Replica Darth Vader might try my first ever conversion on it!

Jake hall that would be awesome to have Revan as a hero character to play. Or even to have like a whole battle playing as the Old Republic vs Sith. What I do wish is that Hasbro would venture into making the other weapons from Star Wars as well. Like blasters and rifles. Thanks for watching!

That is a really nice sabre. I thnik the motion sensor is too sensitive and picks up quick moves as strikes. Other than that the dual color and crystal are nice features.

I have the kylo one it does the same as this one but doesn't have the crystal also it has 2 buttons one to turn it on and off and the other if the press the button once it makes the reflecting sound of a lightsaber and the other like the burning sound

I have a lot of hasbro sabers including the newest elite kylo ren saber and none of them are very sensitive to the strike animation when swinging it I know the Disney ones clash a lot when swinging

This one is metal. Its an aluminum. I corrected myself during the video. When I first lifted it out, I was expecting it to be heavier, which is why I assumed plastic. Sorry about that

You just put in the kyber crystal part and light up the lightsaber. Afterwards, you just take it out and should stay lit for a few seconds.
