Back when you could email the band I used to email Shane my theories for the entire story of this album. He confirmed and clarified a lot. Still some secrets I don't know. This album made me fall in love with concept albums. In my top 5 albums of all time.
wrong buddy!! their lyrics are in a different level than normal bands, even they survive to the oblivion for example nobody remember circa survive, senses fail, in fear and faith and blessthefall, well almost nobody remember them but silverstein has been done a great job
This album changed me. Words cannot describe how much this album means to me. This album was released at the very last year I was living in my family home after experiencing domestic violence which lead to the horrible path of homelessness. The lyrics resonate very deeply. 10-11 years later and I can say that I am in a much better place. Thank you, Silverstein for all your hard work.
I’d give anything to go back to these times. This was my gf at the time’s favorite band. If I could recite the lyrics to certain songs she rewarded me properly. My grades sucked but I knew ever Silverstein lyric
Larry McLovestein Wow, thanks for the reply. I hit Wiki and it shows that a new album is coming out in may this year. Sick..! Cant wait, idk why i thought they split up. Just used to a lot of underrated bands doing so i guess
No problem dude, but if you haven't already I would definitely encourage you to listen to This Is How The Wind Shifts. Their best work next to DTW in my opinion but I'll let you be the judge of that.
@@Imperic0n A beautiful place to drown was a complete disappointment. They literally threw away their unique sound and style and went with the same comercial sound that all of the other bands are starting to use lately. Hope that they can regret it and go back to the incredible sound of Dead Reflections
this is THE band growing up!!! as the years pass by it is like wine and i feel nostalgic and remembering listening to silverstein through the good and bad times :D
You can't see me behind the door I just heard everything you said You tell him, you're saying All those things you used to say to me Who is he? one of the most influential Canadian bands of our time. if you question this I highly suggest lead singer syndrome and see your current favourite band tell Shane discovering the waterfront influenced them.
I hate the people who says that Cancer Bats is "too Heavy" to Silverstein. I think this song has a powerful chorus. One of the Silverstein greatest songs

Concept albums especially from post-hardcore bands are the best
If you don't already know of Famous Last Words, they write AMAZING concept records.
@@adamrees400 reminds me of Alesana
Today on things that never happened:
Definitely a great album. Silverstein is consistently impressive.
Best post hardcore band this world've ever seen. So good after all these years
Mateus Moço Dayseeker is picking up ;)

2022, you’re still right about that 🤘🏻🔥
Silverstein and Underoath !
@@georgepastrana4206 + Saosin, Story of the Year, Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights, The Used and many others
They have over 15 years playing the same kind of music and they still be amazing, it doesn't matter which is their best album they are fucking great!!
+jesús zetina Their new music ain´t as good, now they sound like wannabees.
wrong buddy!! their lyrics are in a different level than normal bands, even they survive to the oblivion for example nobody remember circa survive, senses fail, in fear and faith and blessthefall, well almost nobody remember them but silverstein has been done a great job
jesús zetina If you can´t hear the differens between masterpiece (their old tracks) and crap (their new tracks) then I feel sorry for ya.
+jesús zetina people do remember blessthefall theyre still going pretty strong
+Maximalus people have opinions, chill
I still think the Easter egg of fhe flames throughout this one is damn masterful and A1 🤌
God. I love them so much! One of the best bands growing up. I'm almost 26 and still listen to them to get me amped up. Amazing

8k views. Dude this song one of my favorite SS songs. By far
Seeing Silverstein live was so amazing
I missed them at warped tour, I was was way too tiredddd
The song is nearly nine years old and I still listen to it on a daily basis. Great job the guys did there, but hands down they never disappoint
i’ve always admired his vocal range!! the way he can go from a sweet light singing voice to screaming back and forth is so wild
Silverstein is such an amazing band, they deserve SO much more recognition than this
Still a banger
This song has been in my top 25 most listened to songs of the year for the last 3 years.

Check out Silversteins 20 year celebration tour !!
This is my first time listening to this, so I can’t say I do lol
I’m still here
Silverstein is sick as fk. promote the fk out of them, buy their album, bring em back...
They never left. Lol

Like that other guy said check out THTWS or DTW which are both totally insanely good but my favorite is probably Rescue
just here to remind you all about this song :p
This is my first time hearing this song, and all I can say is, Wow. This is a heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, thriller of a song.
Hands down, Silverstein, along with ADTR, PTV, and SWS, are indeed the best post-hardcore bands out now. At least in my opinion.
Silverstein YES A DAY TO REMEMBER YESS!!! Pierce the veil ehhh sleeping with sirens NO!
ADTR IS THE BEST EVER KNON TO MAN
Been a fan of these guys since the beginning and I'm 61 .🤘
Leaving my scar as I've listened to this song's album
Who’s here in 2024? 😎
2025!
I still remember the first time I ever heard "My heroine" and my mind was blown. Good times.
I was 13 when I heard this song and now I can relate since my gf for 7 years cheated on me.
They really haven't change one bit that's why the in my top 5 favorite bands
Well they have now🤷
@@Imperic0n really? Id say they've remained very consistant..... Each album has its own flavor though.....but their style has as always remained.

still listening
January 2017 I sit here 26 years old still loving this damn song
11 Years later and this still kills.
You can't see me behind the door
I just heard everything you said
You tell him, you're saying
All those things you used to say to me
Who is he?
I never thought you'd drop that avalanche on me
And be unfaithful
These hotel walls are paper thin, I'm going out
Seven, seven with the lime will keep me safe
Long enough to stop the thought of your embrace
Inside my head the lies that I've been fed
Throw it back behind my lips, the pain is gone
Line 'em up and knock 'em down
The night goes on and on and on
To let me cope with this disaster
I'm seven deep
Her brown hair and blue eyes
Looking right at me
Who is she?
I never thought I'd ever think of stepping out
I'll fight this temptation
This crowded bar is full of sin, I'm going out
Seven, seven with the lime will keep me safe
Long enough to stop the thought of your embrace
Inside my head the lies that I've been fed
Throw it back behind my lips, the pain is gone
Line 'em up and knock 'em down
The night goes on and on and on
To let me cope with this disaster
I'm not coming home tonight
I'd rather sleep on the street
I'm not coming home to you
I'd won't sleep with the devil
I'm not coming home tonight
I'd rather sleep on the street
I'm not coming home to you
I'd won't sleep with the devil
I'm not coming home tonight
I'd rather sleep on the street
I'm not coming home to you
I'd won't sleep with the devil
On this city street I'll rest my head tonight
I'm going out
Seven, seven with the lime will keep me safe
Long enough to stop the thought of your embrace
Inside my head the lies that I've been fed
Throw it back behind my lips, the pain is gone
Line 'em up and knock 'em down
The night goes on and on and on
To let me cope with this disaster
Thank you

Cancer Bats is too heavy to Silverstein.
LOL
***** Vildhjarta is better than both of these bands hah.
Taylor Silverthorne Completely different genres, just saying.
WATCHING IN 2016!!! Weird how much more I relate now that I'm almost out of college lol
Camden Everidge I'm 21 not related to the topics of their songs but I still rock out to them every so often
After hearing this song countless amounts of times, still is just so insane
How does this not have 1M+ views
Probably one of my fave three songs by Silverstein. Just a coincidence that it happens to feature Liam Cormier too ;-)
