I have a cheap brisket in the freezer from Austral meats that ive been sitting on. Reckon ill give something like this a go with it now. Been doing a lot of pulled lamb cooks but this has given me the confidence to fire that small brisket up now. You legend!
I’ve never had pulled beef here in America 🇺🇸 only pulled pork but after watching this video I might have to try it but I would use a chuck roast and not a brisket for me that’s a waste of money and I would never just buy a flat or point. I like the whole packet brisket but dang bro good job on the bark and smoke ring. Love pecan wood chunks
Another great vid! Cooked a cheap brisket yesterday and was a hit with the family! Can you buy these knives in a set? Or you purchased individually and bought a storage roll? Thanks
How long did you let it rest before tearing the meat apart? Do you have any good tips for making the bark? Made this today and it was delicious! Just had trouble getting the bark to look as good as yours!
Hey mate, really love that every so often you do use “supermarket” meat as not everyone can afford the top of the range stuff! As usual, I have a silly question….why do you “double foil wrap” a little brisket like that? Keep up the great work, cheers
awesome vid bud 👍 I am having my first crack at a brisket flat today in my Napoleon charcoal cart bbq. hard to find a decent priced brisket in my area. hoping that my first time turns out half as good as yours looks 😂
Have you done a smoked chicken breast video? Had that the other week with a white sauce. Was beautiful. Would be good to see a video of that (partner only eats chicken) haha
Timing of this is awesome. Needed an idea on what to do with the point as I got a full brisket but only needed the flat for the recipe that I am going to cook. I wasn't sure what to do with the point until now. Thanks
I once flicked pulled brisket by accidentally overcooking it, at first I was so pissed at myself then my wife says don’t even tell ‘‘em cos it’s frighten delicious, to this day they’ll mention that pulled beef was the best they’d ever had, now when I’m doing a brisket I ask the wife pulled or sliced to determine how long I cook it, always good pulled if we’re having a tex mex feast
@@LownSlowBasics yah were fat asses. your brisket looks great though. But hey fun tip of you wanna do something different with it. I let it chill and the next day put on a crock pot and put some potatoes and carrots and whatever else ya like and add some beef broth and then put that meat on top and let summer all day. the beef drippings go into the veggies and then it becomes like a smoked pot roast. it's really good. also a pan of water inside your smoker does miracles for moist meat
Far out. This is the most Uncomplicated video on cooking a brisket I've seen thus far. Thank you, sir.
That looks incredible mate!! So good to have you back!! Can’t wait to see what you have coming up. Take care mate

Hey mate! I believe so. You’ll have to have a look on the site 🤘 link in description.
Mate do you have any videos using a Oklahoma joe bandera
Hi, new to your channel, (lots of great stuff btw, cheers) you got me started when you we’e using a Weber. Question: why the change to the Joe?
I still use the Weber often. Both are great 😃
How long did you let it rest before tearing the meat apart? Do you have any good tips for making the bark? Made this today and it was delicious! Just had trouble getting the bark to look as good as yours!
Around an hour. Using a more coarse rub will help, larger cuts and leaving longer before wrapping too.

Most welcome mate! Love hearing that 🙏
Total beginner i am! Is it possible to have this with airfryer?
Timing of this is awesome. Needed an idea on what to do with the point as I got a full brisket but only needed the flat for the recipe that I am going to cook. I wasn't sure what to do with the point until now. Thanks
Most welcome mate! Enjoy.
Do you do much on a pellet smoker
Hoping to get one soon 🤘
Hell yeah 👍
🤘
Where do you get your B&B charcoal in SA?
Some Harvey Norman stores. Try gepps cross 😃
@@LownSlowBasicsthank you!

It’s so good hey. So many think brisket needs to be sliced but it’s amazing pulled!
New house Aaron?
Yeah mate. Enjoying the new setup and the blinds help with the wind and sunlight too!
a what a cute little cut of meat. I know this aint Murica cuz no one here would bother smoking that little piece of meat.
Haha only 8kg+ in Murica!
