I'm currently in a temporary separation from my wife/best friend. I am an overthinker, this has led to issues with my situation in my own head. I was on my way to ruin the future I have with my wife_mother of my children. Your teachings have allowed me to stop/ slow down my circular negative thinking. Allowing me to handle situations that would previously put me into a very dark place. Thank you for existing (probably). You are a gift for the present

Can I ask you a genuine question? When we observe thoughts, how to understand which thought to observe? For example, I have a thought that I want to start a business, should I observe this thought? Because with this approach, every thought is not yours? Then how to do anything, if you know that any thought is not you?

Eckhart Tolle, you are a true blessing. Thank you for your insight. Sometimes for a fleeting moment, I feel lonely because no one I know has the same behavior I've been practicing for many years... living in the now.
Feeling lonely is the part of this journey...
On the other hand you are the one acording to this doctrine the rest of you are your mind state's reflections...As you clean up you r mind you will realise it...

I use to have to know everything. I figure it's a survival mechanism , but I'm realizing and practicing remembering that it's ok if I don't know sometime. That I will know WHAT I NEED to know WHEN I NEED to know it. And if I never know it, it's ok and I wasn't suppose to know.
Let go of what was, accept what is, and have faith in what will be.

My favourite method has been the flow state achieved through mastery of a particular skill, in my case competitive gaming (CSGO). However I have aged and hit my skill ceiling, so I'm looking for a new method, likely something creative. The point is there are many ways, the key is to either stop doing everything (meditation) or do things that engage you away from the default state of negative thinking.
He is such a wonderful speaker & human being.

After i became present from almost more than a year i am very peaceful within myself..people like to hang around or somehow near me including my tf..And as for reminders as i go into thought process immediately in few minutes am reminded to be in present by Universe itself by some noise or something drops and again i come in present moment..thnks for the precious teachings.🙏🏼🙏🏼

@@exelpro0231 all thoughts are to be observed. Eckhart has spoken about something similar where he was living in the UK and he had a thought about moving to the US. He didn’t act on it straight away. He waited a few months to see if this was just a thought or his intuition. But because this notion of him moving to the US was persistent he decided to act on it. So I would wait a while and see if you starting a business is the ego or from source.
@@exelpro0231 Believe that you will succeed, burn your ships, and you will succeed. Or, you will not succeed, which means, you didn’t want to succeed. Does that make any sense lol? I know from first-hand experience. Very interesting why I have forsaken earthly belongings when last year I had a business for $100,000 home etc. What I do have though is the love of my husband and my son. And that’s all I’ll ever need! An air conditioner would be nice right now though living in our van.
@@exelpro0231 You observe all thoughts. The ones you follow are the ones that are quiet, that you "know" deep down inside to be true. They’re the ones that you hear when you connect to that which is inside you, in stillness, while everything around you is changing.
Take your time to trust them and only follow that inspiration! Let go of the loud thoughts, the ones rooted in fear.

Not to understand more, but to practice the state of not thinking. Just do it, become more aware of the present moment. Accept it as it is.
A lot of mind over-activity is to get away from the simplicity of what is in the present moment.

Incredibly profound and wise
It's stillness of the mind, and see what happens. Same as how recommend to meditate. Emptying the mind. Leave it there, forget it, and whatever comes in that seems like thought processes developments, and Light weaves amongst our knowledge and thoughts. No forcing anything. Want no overactivity of the mind. Not thinking.

What is the use of NOT thinking state of mind? Just learn to switch from too much thinking what you don’t want to what you want by affirmations. You cannot beat the thoughts with no thinking. It is not under our control.

"I allow everything to be as it is," meaning that I don't repress or suppress my emotions, nor do I identify myself with the thoughts I'm having. I developed a heightened sense of awareness - I call it "hyper-awareness." I'm partially enlightened. The only thing that is getting in the way is my social anxiety issue - when I'm about to meet a person I get very tense and worried; my own mind wanders into the future. Or when I see a person appearing in front of me, I get a nagging feeling in my stomach area and my heart rate increases exponentially. I allow the anxiety to be there, and I even feel deeper into it - I've been doing this for a long time but it seems that the triggers of my anxiety issue are still within my subconscious. What can I do to solve my social anxiety issue and be at ease with myself in social situations? Thank you.

Perhaps remind yourself that you’re not alone in dealing with this. There’s a good chance that the person you just met is doing their best to control their anxiety too. I can sometimes sense a persons anxiety when I’m speaking to them, and it’s almost comforting to see that it’s “not just me”. If you can begin to *accept* that its ‘ok’ to have some social anxiety - because most of us have some form of it - then maybe it will bother you less. I found that working on my self esteem really helped a lot too. And don’t forget, people often have a ‘social’ aspect to their persona that they have created, intentionally or not, in order to cope with, and enjoy social occasions (we’ve all seen it - a friend or partner that behaves a certain way only when you go out). What I’m saying is that, if you perhaps invented a bit of a ‘character’ for yourself when you are in social situations, and actually put work into developing it, it might eventually become a more natural part of you. Kind of a ‘fake it till you make it’ approach.
