You’ll enjoy it. Breathtaking views all around. Stop at the Mountain Mermaid Brewery there. Their pizza is pretty damn good for not being a pizza place. I use my GoPro 10 as well as my iPhone 14 max pro. Enjoy your visit.

My sister used to live in La Veta very close to the 1899 Inn. She lives in Walsenburg now. I know a lot about his area and I've always wanted to own land in La Veta. It's become gentrified by rich Texans though.

Great place to live if you like peace and quiet. We enjoyed it. Walsenburg is a hit and miss. Not a lot there. It’s the place to go if you need something. Not much in La Veta. It has just enough. Land there is expensive. We were looking at the real estate listings and it’s up there. Property has gone up all over not just there.

Born in Walsenburg and spent sixty some years living in La Veta. It has become to sisyfied and the artsy fartsy crowd has taken over. I left.

I was born and raised in LaVeta! It has changed a great deal. I worked restaurants, up and down LaVeta and Curcharas.
