Hi, Annabel! Toiletries can be a challenge! I like to consider not “Which (mini-sized) toiletries do I need?”, but “How much of these toiletries will I need to use?” Example, I wouldn’t need an entire travel sized eye cream since I’m only going to use a pea-sized amount for 3 days. I've done this before and it takes some planning and getting used to, but it's totally doable! The rest is all about layering and picking the right fabrics.
Hi! Thank you for the suggestion, but I have been using my nose strips for around 5 years and have no problems with them! I always moisten the strip before peeling it off. Hi! Thank you, I’m glad you like my video. It is a bit more difficult when the weather is colder, but I just wear my heavier clothes when I travel. I have a trip back home to London in November and plan on packing with a backpack only. As for the nose strips, they help open my nostrils to enable me to breathe better when I sleep. I probably wouldn't have if the books I read were as slim as the ones you take with you. ❤😅 Sadly, mine are too heavy to lug around and get left behind at home.
Hi! In terms of their displays I can see why an e-reader is not classed as screen time, but for me it’s also about getting away from electronics completely too. I've done this before and it takes some planning and getting used to, but it's totally doable! The hardest part space-wise is the extra pair of shoes (or hiking boots in this case)... for those trips I use a slightly higher backpack that is more carry-on size. The rest is all about layering and picking the right fabrics.
Where did you find the tiny containers for hydro cream? Loved the details in this video.
Hi Deborah! Here is the link for the pots on Amazon: a.co/d/055vXrig hope that helps! 🫶🏼
Try intake breathing nose strips much gentler on your skin
Hi! Thank you for the suggestion, but I have been using my nose strips for around 5 years and have no problems with them! I always moisten the strip before peeling it off. I also searched Intake breathing strips and the price is way too much for what it is ($39.99 for 15! Mine are 310 for $26.99), thanks also for watching! 🫶🏼
I liked the video, This is a nice goal to travel like that. Kinda hard when it gets cold. Can you please elaborate on the nose strips for sleeping? Does that relate to snoring? How do you know it works?
I only know it works because my husband says I snore less with them on! 😂 Thanks for watching 🫶🏼
@@MinimallyAnnabel I was hoping you would say that you wake up much better and felt you slept well but noise reduction is also a plus I guess 🙃I plan to have a week trip to Germany next week and normally I would travel with TNF Borealis or an Osprey porter but I plan to buy a Bass guitar and some gifts so I will have a small trolly with me, and the clothes I'll bring will pad the bass guitar case and gifts will go in that trolly. Hope it'll go well 😅
Have you tried the solid shampoo/conditioner bars from SunStar Soapery? Much more moisturizing than the big brand kinds.
Hi! I’m at a point now where I’m happy with what I’m using, so I won’t be trying any other bars for now, but thank you for the suggestion! 🫶🏼
love your video
Hi Julie! Thank you! 🫶🏼
Thank you for this video! Always enjoy them! I’m just curious how have you set up your camera for that angle, is it on a tripod ?
Hi! Thank you! And yes, I have a selfie stick that I used to use for travel that opens into a tripod. 🫶🏼
What microphone do you use?
Amazing! What about undergarments?😊
Hi! Thank you! And they’re definitely there on the clothing section 😊🫶🏼
What did you think of Gilead?
Hi Kristen! I tend to look for books that have won awards in the library (Gilead won the Pulitzer Prize in 2005) and I would say whilst I was intrigued by the themes in this book, it did take me a while to get through it. It’s thoughtful and beautifully written, though slow and with no plot. 🫶🏼
What brand is ur mini curler
Hi! Here is the Amazon link: Wavytalk Mini Flat Iron 0.7 Inch... www.amazon.com/dp/B09CGK36WN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Hope that helps! 🫶🏼
where are you sandals from? it's super cute!
Hi Mia! Sorry I don’t remember the name of the store, I got them from a boutique on Atlantic Ave in Delray some time ago! 🫶🏼
@@MinimallyAnnabel thanks for the info! I live in the PNW but I'll keep this in mind if I ever visit FL!
Loved it but I cannot travel without headphones
Hi! I always travel with earphones (personally, I have never been a fan of headphones) but I use mine as a mic for the video so it’s not shown in the packing 😂 thanks for watching! 🫶🏼
@@MinimallyAnnabel I use both - depending on the length of the flight and how long I’m away for.
For a haul haul flight I take both and for short haul I do AirPods and wired headphones
Hey Annabel, I’ve been on the hunt for a black hoodie but only wanted to pick one up if it was nice quality and a good fit. May I ask where yours is from? Thank you!
Hi Laura! I don’t have a link as I got it from Marshalls back in the winter of 2022! But the label says the brand is ‘Hanes’ and I only got it for $7.99 at the time! I think you can find something similar by them on Amazon. Hope that helps! 🫶🏼
@@MinimallyAnnabel Gotcha! I appreciate the info so much thanks!
Very helpful. Thank you. You don't need deodorant?! (I wish :))
Hi Susanne! Glad you found my video helpful! And no, I don’t need deodorant 😅 have never used it. Thank you for watching! 🫶🏼
yeah, yeah. blah, blah, blah. But by the end of the video, I'm impressed. For 5 full days :)

Shoes?
Hi Anne! It’s mentioned in the clothing section. A pair of sandals and my Adidas Gazelles. Thanks! 🫶🏼
@@MinimallyAnnabel not enough for me. 😂 it’s the shoes that really kill minimal packing.
@@anneprendergast7834Why do you need more than a pair?
You can match everything to that one pair
In warm weather, I need sandals, sneakers, and dancing shoes
An e reader is not really screen time as the e ink displays have no blue light. It's not comparable to reading on a phone or an iPad. I get why you won't switch to an e reader.
And yes, we purposely choose smaller paperback books over longer novels when we travel to save on weight! 😅 Sometimes we will be mid way through a longer book but we leave it at home and have a different one for travel, but we’re okay with that! Thanks for watching! 🫶🏼
That extremely thick and heavy shoulder bag is weakest link here. Do you really have to travel with that massively thick one?
Hi! I don’t see my shoulder bag as a ‘weak link’. It was something I wanted to bring and matched my outfits for NYC and therefore I packed it. Thanks for watching! 🫶🏼
My favorite way to pack is in one backpack! I take only my favorite, tried-and-true, clothing items

You know that facial cleanser and moisturizer is NOT cruelty free, yeah?
Hi! Peach Slices is in fact cruelty free and is a brand that is Leaping Bunny certified. Here is the link for more information: www.leapingbunny.org/brand/peach-slices
Hope that helps! 🫶🏼
@@MinimallyAnnabel I guess it depends on how you view invertebrates. Leaping Bunny might approve, but personally, I won't use snail based products due to the collection process from the snails. It's a stomach-turning process, to me. I really to reiterate this is my personal opinion, but I thought you'd want to know. Pardon me if this comment is unwarranted
Understand your point of view. I am not vegan but I try my best to avoid products that are tested on animals. I don’t believe that Peach Slices’ practices are harmful, in my opinion. Here is a link of their process: www.peachandlily.com/blogs/news/51230725-reasons-we-love-snail-mucin
@@thatgirlrandi727Peach slices processes snail mucin by letting them walk on tiny grates - harmless. They also don't spend their whole life doing that. Dont know how that's stomach turning bro.
