WILL IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ABOUT THAT STEP NEXT TO THE STOVE!!! I was shopping for an RV, two years ago. I was in an RV, like this one. I was pretending I was cooking to see how it felt being next to the step. Knowing the step was there, I still stepped into that step, I lost my balance ... I fell onto the handle of the stove and the oven knobs, then fell to the floor. I did not break any bones, thankfully, for I am elderly. But, I was injured, and it took me 4 weeks to recover from the bruises and had 3 chiropractor appointments a week because I wretched my back, hip, and knee. After that, I only looked at flat floor RVs. Steps are a deal breaker. I love your RV reviews!!
After watching Matt and Andrea travel to the worlds largest RV show in Germany to show us their RVs, then coming back here , it shows our RV industry has a long way to go.
This little Class C has so much potential, but why would Winnebago totally ruin it with an unwatchable TV position, a cheap plastic toilet and no sofa or theater seating “option” for that uncomfortable, outdated, backbreaking “1950’s diner” booth dinette😩😩😩
I have had a similar rig for years and have no issues at all with the lack of fancy chairs or dinette. That is why it is less expensive. I’d rather have more money to travel than have chairs. My motor home is comfy enough, easy to drive and small enough to park just about anywhere. Once I’m camped, I’m rarely inside anyway. And as for the toilet-I ain’t dancing on it. It works just fine.
@@geraldturner9764 When you are not Glamping with full hookups, but instead, you are camping off grid and you have no cell service or internet and it’s been raining all day, TV might be your only option👍
@@deekelley891 I’m outside 90% of the time like everyone else is, but it doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a comfortable place to sit when it rains all day😂but with any RV, I am just passionate about giving customers as many seating “options” as possible so they can choose a comfortable sofa or recliner or an uncomfortable diner booth dinette that none of us has in our house. I also expect a ladder and do not like cheap entry level bathrooms with a $99 plastic toilet, a $5 shower curtain that will drip water all over and eventually rot the the floor and $5 4” fart fan, but if you are happy spending your hard earned money on these things then that’s great👍
Deal Breakers: No 12-volt Frig Option because they are still using a group 24 lead acid battery. I did verify with a Winn. dealer that two group 27 Lifepo4 batteries do fit in the battery space. We work out of our RV but want a class C to fill in for missing sick camp hosts. I do not want to be making the 27 mile trip into town to refill propane every month when I have 400 watts of Renegy Solar to add to the roof solar to power the Dometic or Furrion 12-volt DC fridge. Deal Breaker #2: Winn. & Thor & others are still using the wrong elbow connectors on their PEX tubing when the otherside connects to flexible tubing. The proper connector uses a washer on the ribbed fitting. Why are RV manufacturers appearing to be so lazy or mis-educated? There seems to be no RVIA code demanding the proper fitting for the flexible waterline connectors. WTF? I still believe in Winn, but my vote for a Class C E-450 12-volt frig option and proper waterline fittings on flexible water lines had gone unnoticed. Cheers! Davey
Please invest in a bluetooth microphone. It is really difficult to hear what you are saying when you are far away from the camera, especially when you are filming near a major highway with lots of road noise.
Coachmen Freelander/CrossTrails handles this size segment a lot better imho, Big U shaped dinette steals all the floor space in non living slide flooplan.
Hi Matt and Wil! My likes are dinette, the pantry and the wardrobe. My dislikes are the bathroom too small, plastic toilet and shower not big enough and tv placement. Thank you Matt and Wil for showing this Winnebago.
I love the Ford 450 chassis, am ok with most of the rest, due to the size of the rig. Hate the fridge, hate the connections on the exterior, and the bed, for me, is a dealbreaker. They could have done some sort of Murphy bed with this small size rv, and made this work.
Sorry, but the rims really make it look ghetto. 1 White front and 3 chrome? Those twisty knobs and the way the generator is so enclosed, make this rig a no go.
Unfortunately my husband is farsighted and can’t read a digital dashboard. I’d leave out the table and lounge on the cushions. Need more kitchen counter space and don’t need 3 burners on the stove. Ditch the propane fridge, you have to drive with it on to cool it down and keep your food in a cooler till you park. Dangerous. Bathroom is ok, nice wardrobe, thank you for a real bed and slideout instead of a corner bed. Not pretty but not bad for the price.
They need to decrease the size of the kitchen sink, only have a cook top that is flush with the counter so it could be used as prep space. And make the microwave convection. I like the decor. But don't like plastic toilet. Like the outside colors.
Dislike: cab is different color, is it a queen bed?, no seating other than the dinette, lack of storage outside, and twisty storage door locks. Like: ccc (but no where to put it),. oven and pantry. Wouldn't consider this unit. If the quality is so good, why not a better warranty?
This would be better with a bathroom slide toilet and sink and shower in the slide and with the other slide with the bed this floor model would only work with a tilt a bed cuz it would fit better in the slide !! Other then that I love this floorplan
Strange? That looks like the spare tire on a white painted rim. It doesn't match the other 3 that are all chrome. When you go to skip around look at how nice the front driver side chrome rim is in comparison.
I’m going to try to be reasonable & not to critical because it’s so small…but this is very basic & would probably be just fine for someone 3’ tall. You can definitely tell that there is nothing fancy or attractive about this unit. Winnebago can do much better than this even for a cheapest of their line. The price is absolutely ridiculously high. Nothing would get me to buy this even at $89,000.
Matt,Will that 👎 Norcold, *2014👎needs to be upgraded, better AC w/Heat Strip, Interior color👎needsxa convectionmic.!!/👏 Amazing cargo & towing, Layout, Theater seats??...as an option on this model Winnebago plz. Modernize to the current century🧟♂️
Everything looks so cheap in this unit & why is the generator so loud? How dare they …who are they building this unit for…the homeless..seriously. I don’t get why they’d build something like this.

Just an observation - the sound is not as good when Will films but is much clearer when Andrea films - different cameras?

Noob question but how much would it cost to upgrade to a porcelain toilet DIY ?
Winnebago doesn’t care what a well educated, RV salesman who knows quality thinks. They are catering to the people who like this unit!
Suuuuure.

Fridge is propane or house batteries, whichever you prefer, or you can use batteries only just while driving.

I would be interested in seeing the cost difference between an f. 53 and a cutaway truck chassis with the same capabilities.
Not going to lie, the paint looks bad. And those front rims? This has base model written all over it. I can't believe this is over $100k.
No clear coat, this was a pump and dump unit for sure. Winnebago quality? 😂
