i feel like youre allowed to have them afterwards because if you play that beggining part of the game without em you get a feeling for what the actual game will be like and i guess the game trusts you not to get illegitemate unlocks
They're not disabled, you just can't get any unlocks or achievements until you beat mom's heart for the first time unmodded

Wdym? The reason Matt couldn't do Mega Satan is because of Forget Me Now, not because he didn't get the second key piece at that time. (He also gets the second piece later)
@@BoredCat0 he got 2 key pieces, they got used, then he grabbed a key piece from super secret room, used forget me now and hoped for a second key piece which he didn't get
if he grabbed that second key piece that spawned at 13:18 after fighting the two angels, he would've gotten inside the mega satan fight after using forget me now

Recent uploads were all easy and broke characters, I love to see mattman actually challenge himself with a hard character. And to spice things up, he even sets his own challenge that he follows the whole run!!

Perhaps the most challenging and riveting Isaac run I’ve seen in a while. I was on the edge of my seat. You really cut it close with the range down pill, I thought it was all over at that point. But you proved everyone wrong. Bravo Mattman, bravo.

Fun fact: the super secret room at 21:33 with an angel statue is actually a room from the base game.
Another fun fact: you only remove items from the pool if you picked them up. Revealing an active item and not picking it up to put it back down, will still give you a chance of getting the item again later on in the run.
If you play as Isaac for example, you should pick up the active, then pick your D6 back up and then reroll, instead ot rerolling immediately.

Tonight i had a dream where i was playing the binding of isaac, it was a normal run until i ran into an L shaped shop (likea big room), it had sacred heart, 20/20, Xray glasses and a bunch of other 10 cent items i forgot, completely offtopic but since i just woke up i figured i'd share before forgetting

Well actually, Matt from the Lasy Mattman, i had an infinietly times better golden pill.
I was doing the Cursed! challenge, when i found a golden pill on sale in the shop, so i took it. The pill lasted a decent ammount, but it also vurped, giving ne a golden pill. That pill lasted a L O T, and on top of that it ALSO vurped. Now, on the third pill i actually died, since i lost every single heart container (and i had a lot, since Cursed!) and died to an explosive diarheea.
Trurly worth the price of 3 cents!

Polyphemus was definitely the correct play, but I'm genuinely kinda curious what Libra would've done for Belson
I wonder...as an interesting challenge, I'd like to see a run where every item is a follower and/or passive "damage of time".
But the kicker is you can't shoot, OR use Bombs. So passive damage like Toxic Shock, or Creep is fine too. Just no tears at all.
(That would mean you'd have to start with something though, or else you've be playing "The Pacifist That Is Isaac".)

I played Teken 8 at my first ever fighting game tourney. First time playing a fighting game, and I had a good time playing it. Glad you enjoy it too!
Challenge idea: How many floors do you need to rig the game? Use BASE MENT seed for this, every time you go down a trapdoor to another floor, add 1 to the score. Aim for smallest possible score. The challenge is considered beaten once you can generate infinite card/rune spawns on a given floor.

Golden pill unlocked that one secret Minecraft achievement
I vividly remember the day I got Golden Pill + Endless, Nameless.
Ended up with 1.5 Range, 20+ shot speed and I was so large that I covered up like half of the room.
It was almost impossible to deal damage at that point but it was still funny as hell
Spent almost 3 hours on attempts to unlock the forgotten, wanted watch someone else struggle for once. I shoulda knew better. GGs
