Miss you, BFF, I know you're listening to your favorite bands in the afterlife♡♡
This song reminds me of what a person can feel when suicidal or what a person feels when going through severe emotional abuse. It can be relatable on both parts. If anyone is going through either, please stay strong. It may be hard to see but you are absolutely amazing. You have purpose in this world & if you hang on, climb out of the black hole you are in, it will be brighter.

Used to take my son and daughter to their after school clubs with this CD playing loudly in the car. Had some really strange looks from the other parents as the three of us were singing along... Even had some of my children's friends come along and join in. 23 years ago, and the songs are still being played loudly in my car !

I still remember the first time I listened to AFI..I was in 7th grade, same year the towers fell..probably about the same time actually. Their music truly helped me get through a lot of built up pain I had in my heart..I saw a lot death as a child. I didn't really get how much their music meant to me then, but looking back...I'm so glad I found them. Listening to this releases so much even now. If any of the band members read these comments - thank you. Truly. You're still badass as ever, and I'd pay good money to see you live 🤘😎
This is such a beautiful album. Looking at it from a biblical perspective..I'm just blown away. I'm so thankful I took the time to revisit this album after all this time. It is brand new to me now, and I absolutely love it. You really captured the struggle that we face as sinners, and the uncertainty (and sometimes abandonment) that we feel. He is always there. This song truly encapsulates that feeling that He really loves us and wants to take us out of our pain. It's so beautiful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart brothers. This song reached me when church couldn't, and it helped me through some of the worst struggles in life. May Yahweh bless you all. 🙏

He got me into AFI, and countless other amazing bands, he was a talented drummer who had played in bands, and he was hands down one of the most special people that I have ever known and loved!! These songs hold precious memories of the good days of running around blasting cd's...just living without a care int he world. Shane passed away on June 26th, 6 years ago. Miss you, BFF, I know you're listening to your favorite bands in the afterlife♡♡
Xoxo
I don't know exactly why, but this is one of my all time favorite songs. There is just something about it that gets to me.
Same goes for me I love this song
So, like, do you think all the band members are vampires who have lived for hundreds of years, or is it just Davey?
More than 20 years later and I can’t get enough of this song.
Im 41 and this song is my favorite from AFI ❤ I was so EMO in highschool this band helped me to be myself no matter what people thought of me
That piano and quick drum breakdown at the start never fails to give me chills.
The most underrated bang in the history of music..
I love revisiting this era of AFI, it's such a specific feeling of nostalgia. ❤️
Upvote if you are a) old b) drunk and c) in retrospect realize how fucking awesome this band really was back then.
I’m all three in this moment I type this !! Crazy awesome post my friend !
Still is
Dude...
Honestly I used to not really like AFI back in the day but nowadays I get it.

+thesanctityoflife Yep, about to be 25 and still one of my most favorite bands.
.... No kidding. But really, thanks for making me think about my age bro. :D
Welcome to my life ... :(
It's February 13, 23:34hrs, I'm 36yo and still feel the same as the first time I heard this jewell.
It’s crazy I was 11 years old when I started listening to AFI & now I’m 30 & still love them
I know Miss Murder was one of their most successful songs, but this one was always my jam. Man, it brings me back.
The non commercialized song are always the best.
My six year old is obsessed with AFI. ( Thanks to me) but literally he sings in the shower " golden lobsters" instead of". cold In life throes...*😭😂 so now I can't unhear it and love this record so much more .🖤
ahahaha LOL golden lobsters 🔥
The goosebumps I get from this song, masterpiece 🙌
This is so good but you must hear “Cage” or “World” by SLT 🎶🔥🌎🔥🎶
I could look at Dave’s face all day he’s so handsome. I love his long hair.
Such a great and yet underated band....
This song and video always give me chills (in a good way). Just brilliant. Please never stop making music!
For joshie, i never cared but you left my heart in shambles because you meant eevrything
Sing the Sorrow and December Underground are the soundtracks of my life.
Same bro 🤘🏼🎸🥁 love both albums so much
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf “ or “Seen/Unseen” by SLT 🐺🤘🔥🤘🐺
Hard to believe this CD came out 16 years ago this month. I listened to every track repeatedly and it didn't leave my CD player for months. Still one of my favorite albums.
❤️❤️ me too. I even wore out my first copy and had to get a second!
My brain likes to forget how this music video ends, so every few years on a really heavy day I come back to it. Thanks, AFI. You guys made a huge impact on me, and still do sometimes.
I was 3 when this came out?! Thank you mom for introducing me to AFI
God I love this song. Had no idea there was even a video till today.
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf “ or “Seen/Unseen” by SLT 🐺🤘🎶🤘🐺
This is poetry, real art.
im 31 years old and this song still helping me with my thoughs, thanks AFI , thank you for all
The best song ever from AFI.
I was in my early 30's and going through a divorce when I really got into AFI. I've loved all their music. I'm now 47. We all get older.
Man, I was just a kid back then.
2019or some other songs
Growing old is no fun unfortunately 😕
I... I came here by day, but I left here in darkness
And found you, found you on the way
And now, it is silver and silent, it is silver and cold
You, in somber resplendence, I hold
Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Light, like the flutter of wings, feel your hollow voice rushing into me
As you're longing to sing
So I... I will paint you in silver, I will wrap you in cold
I will lift up your voice as I sink
Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Cold in life's throes, I'll fall asleep for you
Cold in life's throes, I only ask you turn away
Cold in life's throes, I'll fall asleep for you
Cold in life's throes, I only ask you turn
As they seep... into me, oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me)
Your sins into me... oh
Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into...
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one

60 yo Punk here...seen AFI at several early Vans Warp tours - before it got pop'd out
Damn I love this album.. This song is amazing.. Why can't they write like this today
Are you kidding? Davey's songwriting has gotten only better and better. Unless yu're talking about why other bands don't write like this.
***** alot of that is because its always a surprise with the first album or 2. then fans start to have expectations on how the band should sound, so if it strays from that people will perceive it as getting worse
And a few friends of mine believe that everything went bad starting with STS. Different tastes, hun. Their writing never changed for me.
Idk. I agree somewhat, but I'm actually a huge fan of 17 Crimes.
2:23 one of the best moments of the entire song! The piano intro at the beginning is also really beautiful.
Just noticed after all these years one of the guys are wearing a bathory jacket 🤘🏼
❤❤❤🌹💜💥🎸🦂🤩 Davey looks great and the video well ...no doubt the director Is a genious ja ja It makes me feel like drawing every one into❤ your problems & then running away ?! 😮♏🔥🌹but the true Is the lyrics are good enough & fotographic work also ! Love it
I am 30 years old. In Poland, I listen to this in my teenage years. I'm sorry that icons like AFI, Three Days Grace, Espace the Fate, A7X etc., etc. don't come to Poland so often. This is the music of my youth.
Your comment really hit home. 30 as well. Haven't heard this song in years
Dzien dobry
Same here.. 33 and still love this song and the same bands u mentioned are all still in for mee❤❤. my sister is a huge fan of A7x.
His hair is fabulous. I wish it was still either like this, or like in 2006
Almost 20 years since I played this on repeat every day for months...still makes me tear up when I listen.
The concert last night @ the Budweiser stadium was phenomenal! Thank you for singing through the hair caught in your throat!
I remember my youth, I loved my freedom, I loved what surrounded me, I have a great memory with this musical group, thanks for everything. AFI...SILVER AND COLD
This band Is timeless I love AFI loved Davey' s long hair!!!!!!
Wow!! I grew up listening to this song, I just realized it was shot in Prague, it's 2020 now and I have actually lived in Prague, life is an unknown circle that takes you places you would've never thought possible, indirectly intertwined
It's 12AM and this song just came on Fuse TV for the fifth time that night
I remember
You forgot to say it's April 2004
2003: I was a junior in high school and this album changed my life.
Same. I was 13 when this album came out.
Sounds just as good as it did when first released 18 years ago… AFI IS TIMELESS
My bro played this for me a decade+ ago...from Lynard, Johnny Cash, AFI, WideSpread Panic, Tool...you name it he would listen to it, he had the most amazing taste in music. It’s been 6 years big bro, I love you and miss you. See you on the other side!
may God bless him..if he still alive how old would he be today??
@@bewaktembaga498 sorry Bo! Came back here today, Jeff would be 48 now.
In case anyone was wondering, this video was filmed in Prague,CZ :)
Loved this group since 2006. Still listening to their music and dying to go to one of their concerts already. XD.
Child
The first time I saw them was in Wiesbaden, Germany in 2006 after I got back from Iraq ... you have to see them live to truly appreciate 😍😍
This is an amazing song. Way more philosophical, emotional, and talented than most songs today. And they were only in their 20’s! 👏👏👏👏🤔😮
Used to take my son and daughter to their after school clubs with this CD playing loudly in the car.
Had some really strange looks from the other parents as the three of us were singing along... Even had some of my children's friends come along and join in.
23 years ago, and the songs are still being played loudly in my car !
They have a hauntingly beautiful sound that truly stands out.
I'm 41 and I still love AFI
I'm 40, heard this first at 27. This song has aged incredibly well.
Been looking for this son and band for 8 years now and I couldn't remember!! So happy I found them again!
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf “ or “Seen/Unseen” by SLT 🐺🤘🎶
I loved this song since I was teenager .... Holly Crapp they deserve more recognition!!!
THIS VIDEO STILL MAKES ME AN EMOTIONAL WRECK OVER TEN YEARS LATER
And Yet I'M 48-49yrs Old 08-31 But Still TIMELESS THINK ABOUT IT #Savey 🤔🤗😚😘💋💯👍😎
Adam's hot. And this song is such a bop!
My teenage years are almost over, I listen to this song with my mom sometimes and it's still amazing as always
God this song always takes me back to freshman year in '03. Still great.
I always thought these dudes were Mexican. Love them growing up.

I'll fall asleep for you.

Your sins into me,
Oh, my beautiful one.
Thank you just what I was searching for
I’m 37 and remember going to Best Buy to pick up this cd when it was released.
Limewire for me lol...
